I booked a king-size bed (1.8m) and appreciated that they provided an extra rollaway bed for my child, which fit perfectly and made the room feel spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area has everything you’d need—great restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and attractions all within walking distance. The only minor downside? Breakfast gets very busy on weekends, and we had to skip it due to time constraints—such a pity since the buffet looked amazing. But honestly, this didn’t take away from the overall experience. For the price, the value is outstanding, and I’ll definitely be back.

The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Darling Harbour, with the aquarium and waterfront attractions easily reachable in just 3 to 5 minutes. Getting into the Sydney CBD (like Queen Victoria Building) is also super convenient. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Even though I didn’t request daily room cleaning, they still tidied up my room each day, which was thoughtful. If you prefer not to have this service, you can simply let them know—it’s no problem at all. My room had an incredible view of Darling Harbour, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I could enjoy peace and quiet even during busy times. That said, since it was winter in August, Sydney got quite chilly. While the lobby was warm and cozy, the room’s air conditioning couldn’t quite deliver the warmth I wanted—the temperature stayed between 18–20°C throughout our stay. It would’ve been ideal if it could be adjusted to a more comfortable 23–25°C. But honestly, that’s the only small downside I can think of. Everything else was outstanding—this was truly a flawless stay!

The view directly faces the clock tower, which chimes every 15 minutes—a delightful daily ritual. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to the three entrances in the grand lobby. Overall, the atmosphere is quiet, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. If you're visiting Sydney, this is a top-tier choice for both convenience and character.

It made cooking simple meals or preparing snacks super easy, especially for longer stays. The separate living area added a nice touch of comfort and privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, which helped us sleep well despite the travel fatigue. And the best surprise? There are so many authentic Chinese restaurants nearby—Cantonese, Sichuan, hot pot—you name it. My cravings were seriously satisfied without having to search far. The only minor downside is that the bathroom isn’t separated into dry and wet zones, so the floor gets damp after showers. But honestly, that’s a small trade-off considering everything else.
