The spa is a highlight—steam rooms, dry sauna, and both solo and couples treatments are available, making it perfect for relaxation or romance. Breakfast is a real treat—freshly baked pastries, hot dishes like eggs, omelettes, and a hearty full English breakfast, plus yogurt, seasonal fruit, coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed juices. It’s the kind of meal that energizes your day. By the infinity pool, the team brings cocktails and light snacks—worth every penny for the ambiance alone. I spent two wonderful nights in the stunning Sunlover's Suite at the end of September 2025, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room is spacious and beautifully designed, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the pristine white sands of Camps Bay Beach—just breathtaking. The suite features high-end furnishings, including a plush king-size bed, a generous walk-in closet, and an elegantly integrated bathroom with a large shower and a freestanding bathtub that adds a touch of luxury. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a stove, microwave, and ample fridge space—perfect for preparing meals during your stay. The hosts, Thobeka from Guest Relations and Elri, the manager, were incredibly welcoming and offered thoughtful recommendations for local dining spots and nearby tours. I also want to thank the housekeeping team—they kept everything spotless and well-maintained throughout my visit. From start to finish, I felt truly at home, pampered, and well taken care of. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a highlight of my trip. I’ll definitely be back.

The nearby MyCity stop makes getting around easy. The hostel features a shared kitchen and lounge with a TV, perfect for chilling in the evenings. I especially loved hanging out at the backyard bar by the pool—it’s such a relaxed vibe. The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. Everything about this place felt welcoming and well-maintained. A great stay for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and a friendly atmosphere.

We've visited Cape Town three times now, and without a doubt, Barry Hall Apartments has been the highlight of every trip. Rita’s warm welcome makes you feel right at home—her kindness truly sets the tone for an unforgettable stay. The team, led by Felicity, goes above and beyond: rooms are spotless, beds are neatly made, and dishes are washed and ready each day—perfect after a full day exploring. For a small extra fee, they even handle your laundry, which is incredibly convenient. Located in Sea Point, it's just a 2-minute walk to Regent Street, where you'll find plenty of great restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. It’s less than 10 minutes by car to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and downtown Cape Town, making everything easily accessible. Table Mountain and Lion’s Head rise majestically behind the neighborhood—just look out the bedroom window and you’ll see them daily. Walking down Regent Street offers stunning views of Lion’s Head, and if you keep going, you’ll reach Camps Bay, then follow the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive all the way to Hout Bay. Don’t miss the beachfront promenade—7km of beautiful coastline where you can watch paragliders launch from Lion’s Head, float over the ocean, and land gracefully on the sand. We’re already planning our next visit in 2026, and Barry Hall will definitely be our home away from home. One of the most memorable and enjoyable stays we’ve had while traveling the world.

Staying at Radium Hall Guest House during Cape Town’s winter months felt like a rare gift of regeneration. There are places you wish you could stay forever, and this is one of them. The view over the mystical Table Mountain, the glittering city lights, and the vibrant horizon painted with colors at dusk—words can’t do it justice. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, creating a serene, welcoming atmosphere. The hosts go beyond hospitality—they feel like family, offering not just guidance but genuine warmth and connection. And then there are the resident cats: if you're lucky, they’ll come visit you on the terrace. Every morning, you’re greeted by the flight of Hagedas ducks overhead, as you enjoy a crisp rusk on the balcony. It’s hard to leave—because here, everything you need for happiness already exists. But stepping through the gate also opens the door to adventure. Who will you meet on the Frederick Steps today? What story will that person share? How many helmeted guinea fowl will call out from Albert Road as you pass by? And what breakfast awaits at Blue Café on Brownlow Road—perhaps with a view of paragliders dancing above Lion’s Head or the busy kitchen life, accompanied by creaking wooden floors, a cozy playlist, and smiles from the staff? Then, a visit to Caley Chiropractic in Kloof Nek Road for an extra endorphin boost before fully diving into the rhythm of the city, the mountain, and the Atlantic. This whole package—serenity, comfort, discovery—is exactly what I’d recommend, especially in winter (though I’m still warm-hearted enough to say that even when it’s cold!). Breakfast was generous and delicious, offering a wonderful start to the day. We appreciated having private parking for our car, and our room (Room 1) was spacious and incredibly comfortable. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-managed boutique hotel with genuine hospitality and a personal touch, this place is absolutely worth considering.
