The actual room was nothing like the photos shown online—very disappointing. The cleanliness was extremely poor; the sheets and blanket were stained yellow, clearly not cleaned properly. It made the whole stay unpleasant and uncomfortable. The quality didn’t match the price at all, and the overall experience was far below expectations. I won’t be booking here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this property.

My stay at Hotel Grand Mutiara was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff greeted me in a very rude and dismissive manner, even demanding payment for a tax I had already paid through the booking platform—this was completely unjustified. The bathroom was faulty, with constant leaks making it unusable. There was no housekeeping service at all, no working TV in the room, and absolutely no breakfast included. For a hotel charging what they do, these are basic expectations that should be met. Unfortunately, none of them were. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, maybe it's barely acceptable, but if you want comfort, cleanliness, and proper service, this hotel falls far short. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a decent experience in Kuala Lumpur.

The location is fantastic: close to the city center and just a short walk from the MRT station, so getting around Kuala Lumpur is super easy. Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for comfort and convenience without breaking the bank.

This property is surprisingly spacious and well-designed, offering incredible value for money—so much so that I regret not staying longer. The room was clean, modern, and had a great view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline; waking up to city lights at night was absolutely stunning. One of the highlights? The TV lets you stream YouTube and Netflix—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. That said, access to public transport isn’t ideal—the nearest MRT station is a bit far, and you’ll likely need to take a taxi or bus to get around. Still, the overall experience more than makes up for it. If I return to KL, this will be my first choice again. A fantastic stay with a great balance of comfort, convenience, and charm.
