Heaven on Washington Fully Furnished Apartments

Staying at this apartment was an absolute delight—perfect for immersing yourself in the heart of Washington, D.C. We explored the National Mall entirely on foot and only used an Uber once, to/from Reagan National Airport, which cost under $20 each way. Driving wasn’t practical due to heavy traffic and tricky parking, so walking was definitely the way to go. Over the course of our trip, we covered 8 to 10 miles daily—visiting world-class museums, enjoying leisurely strolls along the mall, and even taking a memorable dinner cruise. The pickup point for our night bus tour was just a short walk away, making logistics seamless. The neighborhood is packed with dining options, ideal for food lovers who want variety and convenience. It’s also just a few blocks from the NBA arena, perfect if you’re catching a game or event. There’s some city noise—traffic, pedestrians, and occasional sirens—but the building is well-insulated, so it’s manageable. While it’s not as quiet as a suburban home, the vibrant energy and unbeatable accessibility make this location truly special. If you love being right in the pulse of the nation’s capital, this is a must-try.

Staying at Hyatt House Washington DC/The Wharf was absolutely one of our best experiences during our visit to the city. The location is unbeatable—walking to major museums like the Smithsonian and National Mall takes just under 20 minutes, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The room, while modest in size, was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The American breakfast was a highlight—freshly made pancakes, crispy bacon, eggs, and a wide variety of fruits and beverages. It felt hearty and satisfying every morning. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, which added to the warm, welcoming vibe. I especially appreciated the lounge area with free coffee and tea service—perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. This stay truly stood out compared to previous trips to Washington, D.C., and I’d definitely book here again. Highly recommend for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall

Staying here for a month was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Washington, DC. After trying several hotels, this Residence Inn truly stood out. The location is unbeatable—right near the National Mall, with walking access to major attractions and a metro station just steps away. The room was incredibly well-equipped: full kitchenware including utensils, pots, knives, and even a dishwasher—perfect for longer stays. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and they didn’t use disposable plates. Staff were attentive, constantly refilling empty dishes and clearing used ones without hesitation. The heating system worked wonders—even on windy days, the room stayed cozy and warm, making for a restful night’s sleep. I didn’t know how to use the dishwasher at first, but everything I needed (sponges, cleaning supplies, cloths) was already stocked in the kitchen. It made long-term living so much easier. From start to finish, every moment here brought positive memories. This stay truly wrapped up my trip on a high note. Thank you!

Stayed at their brand-new adjacent property this time and was thoroughly impressed—clean, modern, and absolutely spotless. The location is unbeatable; whether heading to the airport or exploring local attractions, everything is within easy reach. Public transit access is fantastic—just a quick transfer and you're there. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and security was tight but respectful. All guests seemed well-behaved, making the stay feel safe and peaceful. But honestly, the highlight was the breakfast pancakes—fluffy, warm, and packed with flavor. I’ve been thinking about them ever since! This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and quality. If you’re looking for a reliable, hassle-free stay in Washington, D.C., this is definitely a top pick. Would 100% come back.

Black Swan - Liz DC - Executive Flat

The apartment had a strong musty odor and felt very poorly ventilated, making the stay uncomfortable. When issues arose during our visit, the staff was completely unhelpful and unresponsive—no communication at all. We were promised a partial refund in writing, but after checking out, they refused to honor it without any explanation. This lack of integrity and customer service is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and respectful stay. Avoid it.

WhyHotel by Placemakr, Union Market

I stayed at WhyHotel by Placemakr, Union Market while visiting my son in Washington, D.C., and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff here are genuinely kind and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Special shoutout to Gregori Capella and Breona Pinkney—two outstanding team members who truly care about their guests. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made a lasting impression. The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from public transit and local attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Clean, modern rooms with thoughtful touches, and an overall vibe that feels both comfortable and welcoming. If this hotel were a chain, I’d say Gregori should be the head manager across all locations—and Breona absolutely deserves a major promotion. This place is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca

I stayed at Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca in Washington, DC, expecting a comfortable and secure experience—but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment. On September 14, 2024, I left the hotel with my family from 11 AM to 4 PM. When I returned, I discovered that two watches (including a Rolex), a diamond bracelet, and a ring were missing. I reported this immediately to the concierge, but their response was delayed and uncooperative. I filed a police report and requested access to surveillance footage from that time frame—so far, no video has been provided, and communication from the management remains minimal. To make matters worse, upon check-in, staff couldn’t locate my key card and had to recalibrate it manually. I also noticed the key fob cover was missing when I arrived—a red flag I didn’t address at the time. Now, with over $10,000 worth of jewelry stolen, and the investigation ongoing, I can’t help but feel the management is not being transparent. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious breach of trust. I strongly advise against staying here. Your belongings may not be safe.

Coda on Half, a Placemakr Experience - Navy Yard

Staying at Coda on Half, a Placemakr Experience in the Navy Yard was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Nationals Stadium and surrounded by great cafes, shops, and local vibe. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making check-in and any requests feel effortless. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for light cooking—utensils, dishes, and even enough kitchenware for four people. The shower had excellent water pressure, which made mornings feel refreshing. With nice weather during our visit, we spent hours exploring the neighborhood on foot, discovering hidden gems and enjoying the energetic atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that blends comfort, convenience, and character so seamlessly. If you’re looking for a true Washington, D.C. experience with modern touches, this is it—highly recommend.

AC Hotel Washington DC Capitol Hill Navy Yard

The location is excellent—just a short walk from Capitol Hill and Navy Yard, with easy access to public transit. The area feels safe and vibrant, especially in the evenings, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and well-maintained, with amenities on par with a typical 3-star hotel back home—comfortable bed, good lighting, and functional layout. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. Breakfast was a classic American spread: scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, and coffee—simple but satisfying and filling. One thing to note: parking can be tricky due to limited space and tight entry/exit lanes, so plan ahead if driving. Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers who value convenience and a welcoming atmosphere. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting Washington, DC.

Sonder Georgetown C&O

Absolutely loved staying at Sonder Georgetown C&O—perfectly matched my expectations. This hotel-style apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen including an induction cooktop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and a spacious fridge—so much better than relying on takeout every day, especially since I’m not a fan of American fast food. The property is brand new, well-maintained, and managed under the Marriott umbrella, which gives peace of mind without the hassle of dealing with private hosts or basement units. Check-in was smooth: after registering via email, I received the room access code in advance. Even though official check-in time was 4 PM, the front desk staff activated the code early so we could move in as soon as 1:30 PM—very convenient! The location is ideal, right in the heart of Foggy Bottom, just a 15-minute walk to the metro station. There’s also a D80 bus stop right outside that goes straight to the Union Station—clean, reliable service with no sketchy vibes. Walking to the White House takes about 30 minutes, which is totally doable. A Trader Joe’s is only a 10-minute stroll away—great for groceries and snacks. The layout is smart and spacious, with a generous living area. The only small downside is that the showerhead is fixed to the wall (no handheld option), and bathing is done in the tub instead of a walk-in shower. But it’s still functional. And kudos to the lobby—free capsule coffee available all day, unlimited refills. Perfect for early mornings or late-night work sessions!
