Parking is pricey at $60 CAD plus tax, but it’s valid until 2 AM the next day, which is helpful if you’re planning to stay late or leave later. We stayed at Cambridge Suites Toronto for five nights and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk from Queen Station, with an underground exit right in front of the hotel (though navigating the tunnels takes a bit of getting used to). If it rains, you’ll appreciate being able to walk straight inside. In about 7 minutes, you can reach the Eaton Centre, packed with urban dining options, and a short tram ride gets you to Chinatown. CN Tower and Harbour Front are roughly a 20-minute walk away—though taking the subway is definitely more convenient. Across the street is a 24-hour supermarket, which is super handy for snacks or essentials. The staff were incredibly friendly during check-in and check-out, and one housekeeping team member stood out for her warm, welcoming attitude. The room itself is spacious, modern, and feels brand new. We especially loved the living area—perfect for relaxing, watching TV, or enjoying dinner with takeout. The microwave is a real plus, though we’d have appreciated a basic kitchen setup too. One small note: I’d prefer the duvet to be in a cover rather than tucked between two sheets, which seems common in Canada—but honestly, it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back.

One minor quirk (if you can even call it that): the frosted glass bathroom door looks sleek and contemporary, but at 5 a.m. during jet lag, flipping on the light felt like summoning the sun itself—my husband woke up instantly, startled by what he thought was dawn breaking through the room. Hilarious, really! We ended up using our phone flashlights instead, which worked perfectly. Overall, this stay was excellent—great comfort, smart design, and a convenient location.
