Plus Prague

The staff at Plus Prague were absolutely fantastic—warm, helpful, and always ready to assist. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and given excellent service throughout my stay. They went out of their way to help with local recommendations, transportation tips, and even assisted with luggage. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and located in a great spot for exploring central Prague. With its friendly atmosphere and excellent value, this place truly stands out. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Minimino Hotel

I only stayed for one night, but the entire experience was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly—always ready to assist with local tips or transportation advice, including subway routes into the city center. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for such a short visit. Even though I didn’t have time to explore much beyond the hotel, everything about the stay felt seamless and enjoyable. The quiet atmosphere made it easy to rest, and the overall vibe was welcoming and cozy. For travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable base in Prague, this is a top choice. Definitely coming back if I ever return to the city.

Sir Toby's Hostel

Staying at Sir Toby's Hostel in Prague was an absolute highlight of my trip! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the city center and easy to reach by public transport. What really stood out was the peaceful garden and cozy bar, perfect for unwinding with fellow travelers from all over the world. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—especially Bara at reception. She’s not only beautiful but also incredibly smart and attentive, always anticipating what guests need. From recommending local spots to helping with travel plans, she went above and beyond. The vibe here is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. If you're looking for a memorable hostel experience with great value, this place is a must-visit.

Botel Marina

Staying at Botel Marina was an unforgettable experience. Located right on the Vltava River, it feels like you're in a private riverside retreat while still being just minutes from the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are stylish, spacious enough, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, abundant, and delicious. We reached the historic center by bike in only 10 minutes, making exploration effortless. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and charm. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

Roosevelt Hostel

I didn’t expect much from a budget hostel, but what I found in my dorm room was genuinely disappointing. No cleaning at all—dust everywhere, a strong musty smell, and even carpet beetles crawling around. The furniture looked like it hadn’t been replaced in decades, and the shared bathroom was surprisingly dirty—sink stains, grime under the faucet, and no visible effort to maintain hygiene. It’s hard to believe this is the standard for a place that’s otherwise so well-located in a vibrant area of Prague. The neighborhood has great energy, and being close to public transit is a big plus. But honestly, if you’re looking for a decent night’s sleep, look elsewhere. This experience left a bad taste, and I’m sharing this not just to vent—but to make sure others aren’t caught off guard.

Hostel Seven

Located in a quiet area of Prague, Hostel Seven is convenient for getting around by public transport, but the experience comes with some drawbacks. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the shared bathrooms were extremely busy—especially after 6 PM—and the noise level remained high until late at night, which disrupted sleep. I was actually advised by local police to be cautious in this neighborhood, as it’s considered less safe. Booking was confusing: there’s no one on-site, and the office closure signs were unclear—initially it seemed like staff might just be away briefly, but later I found out reservations are only available online. That said, the biggest plus is the price—very affordable, especially for budget travelers or backpackers looking for a good deal.

Hostel Homér Libeň

On the night of December 31st, around 11:30 PM, I was attacked by a staff member at Hostel Homér in Prague—a man in his 40s or 50s with long hair, who appeared to be a supervisor—while the front desk receptionist, a young Indian woman in her mid-20s, stood by silently. The incident started because of my own mistake, and I tried to resolve it calmly. However, this man was clearly heavily intoxicated, became aggressive, grabbed me, and physically assaulted me—with help from another person present. I asked the receptionist repeatedly to call the police, but she did nothing. I attempted to go to the police myself, but on New Year’s Eve, law enforcement was already overwhelmed. Prague is absolutely beautiful and the locals are generally kind and welcoming—but this experience stands out as the worst I’ve had during all my travels. I don’t judge an entire Christmas tree just because one light is broken, but I’m sharing this story so others can stay alert and avoid similar situations.

Mama Shelter Prague

Staying at Mama Shelter Prague was an absolute delight! The location is incredibly convenient—right next to the tram stop, and just a 15-minute ride into the city center with no transfers needed. The room was spotless, modern, and well-equipped, especially the powerful hairdryer that dried my hair in record time. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, diverse, and delicious. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. Great vibe, excellent service, and unbeatable value. Definitely planning to come back.

Belvedere

Our stay at Belvedere was absolutely excellent! The staff went above and beyond with their professionalism and warmth—always greeting us with a smile and ready to help. Breakfast was a highlight: a generous buffet with a great mix of local and international options, fresh pastries, juicy fruits, and perfectly brewed coffee. We loved having the kettle, tea bags, and coffee in the room—it made our mornings so much more comfortable. The room itself was cozy and well-maintained, though it’s located right on the roadside, so we could hear occasional train noise and outside conversations. That said, the soundproofing kept it manageable, especially at night. One thing we appreciated was the separate bathroom and toilet layout—very convenient and private. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and a lovely vibe. Highly recommend for travelers who want a quiet yet central base in Prague.

Hotel Carol

Staying at Hotel Carol in Prague was an absolute delight. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the complimentary coffee and cake in the lobby were a lovely touch. I was especially impressed by the on-site restaurant serving Jewish cuisine—unusual for sure, but honestly, the dish I tried was delicious and full of character. The whole atmosphere felt warm and authentic, making our stay truly memorable. I’d absolutely book here again without hesitation.

Hotel Aida

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Aida! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and right next to a metro station, making it super easy to explore Prague. The room was clean, modern, and cozy, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist. What really stood out was the value for money—luxury vibes without the luxury price tag. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Residence Vysta

The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread was both diverse and delicious. I’d give it a solid 5 stars without hesitation. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would happily return. The location is perfect for exploring Prague, with easy access to public transit and all the city has to offer. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for comfort, quality, and great value.
