Our ground-floor suite had a private balcony and a cozy fireplace, adding a real charm to the stay. The bathroom looked recently renovated—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. Breakfast each morning was a nice continental spread, and every evening, guests could enjoy free wine next door at the White Swan. The hotel’s decor is eclectic and quirky—full of character and personality. Staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. A small downside: both hotels require guests to use stairs to enter, which can be tricky with luggage. Valet parking runs $75 per night, but that’s typical for the area. With so many great restaurants nearby—especially the excellent pizza place right across the street—it made dining out effortless. Overall, this stay was unforgettable. I’d happily return in a heartbeat.
