The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. Housekeeping maintained the highest standard throughout my visit, keeping everything spotless and well-organized. Breakfast was a highlight—a generous buffet offering a wide range of fresh, delicious options from both Western and Asian cuisines. I especially appreciated the quality and variety. The fitness center and pool were well-maintained and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day. Overall, this hotel delivers on every front: comfort, service, and convenience. I finally stayed at the Eslite Hotel Taipei, and it completely lived up to my expectations! The hotel isn’t huge, but everything is well-organized and thoughtfully designed, creating a calm, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a semi-self-service style with classic Taiwanese flavors—delicious, filling, and perfect for starting the day. The real highlight? The 24-hour bookstore right downstairs. I grabbed a few vinyl records late at night, and saw families reading with their kids—such a peaceful, inspiring vibe. Plus, both Songshan Cultural Park and the Dome are just a short walk away, making it super convenient for exploring. My only tiny suggestion: the towels and bath sheets have seen some wear and are slightly yellowed—maybe a replacement schedule could help maintain that fresh feel. But honestly, this doesn’t take away from how much I loved the location, service, and overall charm. A truly unique stay in the heart of Taipei.

Kimpton Da An Hotel

Staying at Kimpton Da An Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk from the MRT station, making it super convenient to explore downtown Taipei. The lobby has a calming, inviting atmosphere with a subtle scent that instantly puts you at ease. Staff are courteous and always ready to help, opening doors with a warm smile as you enter or exit. Nearby, I discovered the legendary Tian Xia San Jue Beef Noodle Soup—rich broth, perfectly tender beef, and a must-try. M One Coffee nearby is also fantastic, with a cozy vibe and excellent brews. What truly stood out was how pet-friendly the hotel is—my dog felt right at home, and the staff treated him like family. Service was impeccable throughout, and the overall experience was simply outstanding. Highly recommend this gem for any traveler visiting Taipei!

Even better, they allowed me to check out as late as 4:00 PM, giving me extra time to explore the area and enjoy some last-minute shopping without rushing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, from the clean, well-appointed rooms to the overall atmosphere. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and great service in one place. If I’m ever back in Taipei, this will definitely be my first choice again. I always stay at Palais de Chine Hotel whenever I visit Taipei—truly my go-to spot. This time, I was pleasantly surprised by the brighter lighting in the underground elevator lobby and in the room itself, which felt noticeably brighter than my last stay just a month ago. My stay was absolutely incredible—I didn’t want to check out! I wish my trip had been longer, as one day just wasn’t enough. From check-in to luggage storage and even the housekeeping staff at checkout, everyone went above and beyond with their warm, polite service. The room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and honestly hard to find any flaws—except for one faulty USB-C charging port, but that’s a tiny detail in an otherwise flawless experience. What truly made it special was the front desk’s willingness to accommodate a late checkout, which gave me so much more time to enjoy the city without rushing. Truly grateful for this thoughtful touch. This hotel exceeded all expectations—definitely a place I’ll return to.
