The location is perfect—just a 100-meter walk from the exit of Fuzimiao Metro Station, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions like Fuzimiao, the Imperial Examination Museum, and the Gongyuan. The entire property exudes a charming old-style Republican-era vibe with thoughtful details everywhere. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—from complimentary fruit and face masks to free refills on mineral water, a little gift upon checkout, postcards, and even stamps! You can even stamp your own postcard with the hotel’s unique cultural design and send it off. It’s such a fun, memorable touch. Han Yue Lou Hotel

Walked into the hotel and was immediately impressed—far more luxurious than the photos suggested. Although I booked through a platform, the front desk staff, Miao Yuting and Qian Haorui, proactively checked if an upgrade was possible and happily confirmed one for me. Stepping into the upgraded room felt like entering a presidential suite—spacious to the point of getting lost in the corners, with panoramic views of the Olympic Center that were absolutely stunning. The room itself was immaculate, featuring smart curtains, a large bathtub, and two bathrooms—everything you could want. I also received complimentary afternoon tea access on the first floor, which I enjoyed after checking out the gym and pool, both of which were top-notch and well-maintained. Breakfast at the 5th floor was exceptional—diverse, delicious, and a real highlight. Honestly, the value for money was outstanding. If I ever return to Nanjing, this will be my go-to choice.
