We always come to Jinji Lake and have stayed at InterContinental Suzhou multiple times—truly a go-to choice. The hotel overlooks the lake, and Moonlight Pier is just across the bridge—super convenient for walking or taking the metro. This time, we brought my elderly parent who had just recovered from a fracture; mobility was limited, and even eating and moving around were challenging. From check-in onward, the staff went above and beyond. When we requested two rooms, they kindly arranged adjacent ones for easier supervision. Throughout breakfast and dinner buffet service, the team showed exceptional care. During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. He even explained the medical reasoning behind it! That level of thoughtfulness and knowledge stood out. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and professional. We’ve already taken photos of several team members’ name tags—we’d love to see them recognized by the hotel. Definitely coming back again!

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is here. Cleanliness is outstanding: no dust in the corners, crisp and fresh bedding with zero odors, and a perfectly separated bathroom that makes everything feel safe and hygienic. The service stands out too—the front desk staff checked us in quickly and efficiently, and Guo Jing was especially warm and attentive. On a chilly day, she even offered a hand warmer and hot water—such thoughtful touches really stood out. This place delivers incredible value, and I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Suzhou.
