Staying at Hilton Anatole in Dallas was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from downtown and easy access to everything. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, and having Jade Waters Park right on-site is such a wonderful bonus for guests who want a peaceful retreat. That said, the pool bar service was painfully slow during our visit, especially over Memorial Day weekend. With wristband prices increased from $25 to $55, it would’ve made sense to bring in extra staff to keep up with demand. Waiting 30+ minutes for a drink really took away from the relaxation we were hoping for. It’s a shame because everything else about the stay was excellent. A little more staffing during peak times could make this already great experience even better.

The location was excellent—just a short walk from downtown Dallas and super convenient for exploring the city. However, the public areas could use some attention: the elevator wasn’t clean, and there was a noticeable odor in the hallways. That said, my room was spotless and well-organized, which made a big difference. A few practical tips for future guests: bring your own power adapter—those lamp outlets don’t work—and pack your own toiletries, as the hotel only provides soap. It’s definitely not a luxury stay, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with a great location, it gets the job done.
