Staying at Bao Son International Hotel was a pleasant surprise—the room was spacious, around 80 square meters, much larger than I expected. The layout is open and well-designed, making it feel airy and comfortable. Breakfast was solid with a good mix of local and Western options, and the quality was surprisingly fresh and satisfying. The front desk staff were friendly, though English communication was minimal—basic phrases only—and Mandarin skills were limited to just a few words. The mini-fridge drinks are charged separately, so I’d recommend checking that upfront. One downside: the Wi-Fi was painfully slow even when the signal showed full strength—only a few tens of Mbps, which made streaming or video calls frustrating. Still, the strong shower pressure and overall comfort more than make up for it. For the price, this hotel offers great value and is definitely worth considering if you're visiting Hanoi.
