Staying at ViiA Residences by Five Senses was a fantastic experience. The apartment was spacious enough for our family of three, with a comfortable living area that made us feel right at home. Being just steps away from the subway station was a major plus—getting around Kuala Lumpur was so convenient and stress-free. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. While food delivery options in Malaysia didn’t quite meet expectations (we’ll give it zero stars there), the hotel itself more than makes up for it with its great location, clean design, and overall comfort. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a cozy, hassle-free base in the city.
The Manor Serviced Residence by Canopy Lives
Staying here for around $300 per night with a 40 sqm room is an excellent value. The first room I was assigned didn’t have hot water for showers, but the front desk immediately helped me switch to a spacious 120 sqm two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit—way bigger and much more comfortable than expected. There’s a coffee machine on the ground floor, so I could grab a quick brew anytime. However, it’s quite a walk to ICC (about 45 minutes, not ideal), and it takes roughly 20 minutes to reach Pavilion or KLCC—neither very convenient. Taxis are also hard to catch nearby. Despite the location drawbacks, the room upgrade, service quality, and overall comfort make this a great deal. If you’re looking for space and good value, this place delivers.

I especially loved the panoramic views from the room—especially during sunset and night time when the city lights come on. It’s conveniently located near public transport, so getting around downtown Kuala Lumpur is super easy. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located stay in KL, this one deserves every bit of its 10/10 rating. Highly recommended!

My only minor concern was a faint pipe noise from room 630—most noticeable when using the restroom, but only happened around 6 AM and not during the night. Since I was just here for one night and everything else was so smooth, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of switching rooms. Breakfast was decent overall, though the black soy chicken was a bit salty. But honestly, the staff made up for it—always friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive. You’re also within walking distance of major malls like Pavilion KL, and right downstairs is a supermarket and a 7-Eleven. Plus, tons of dining options nearby. Honestly, if I come back to Kuala Lumpur, this will be my top pick—perfect for solo travelers who prioritize safety, comfort, and convenience.
