The hotel has been recently renovated and it shows—everything feels fresh, spacious, and well-maintained. I was a bit disappointed when I arrived to find that my booked sea view room had been changed to a standard room without the view, but the staff handled the situation with great care and offered immediate assistance. The room itself was still fantastic—large, clean, modern, and very comfortable. Located just a short walk from the city center, it’s easy to get around by metro. Despite the mix-up, the overall experience was excellent, and I’d definitely stay here again.

This was our honeymoon stay, and The One Barcelona GL Hotel truly exceeded expectations. While private cars aren’t allowed into the area, taxis can drop you right at the entrance without any hassle. One minor downside: occasional noise from the street, likely due to being in such a lively part of town. The restaurant had a mixed experience—dinner was okay but service could’ve been more proactive. We waited a while before anyone brought the wine list, and we had to ask directly after ordering food. That said, the ambiance was nice, and the dishes were decent. For a better experience, I’d recommend dining at the rooftop bar instead—better views and atmosphere. All in all, this is a stylish, well-run hotel with strong value for money, and I’d happily return.
