Hollywood Hotel
Staying at Hollywood Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience overall. The property is immaculate, with clean and spacious rooms that felt both modern and cozy. I especially loved the room key—it’s so cute I actually brought it home as a souvenir! The only minor downside was one staff member (Spanish-speaking) who seemed rather unfriendly, which slightly dampened the mood. However, every other team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Location-wise, the neighborhood isn’t the safest for walking around, and there aren’t many attractions within easy reach on foot. We rented a car, which made everything much more convenient—highly recommended if you don’t have access to transportation. That said, considering the great value, excellent service, and prime location near Hollywood landmarks, this hotel is definitely worth a stay.

Staying at Loews Hollywood Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and tons of great spots to explore. Everywhere you go, there are restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby, making it super convenient for both sightseeing and daily needs. The hotel itself is spotless, with a clean and modern vibe throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make sure guests felt comfortable. It’s clear they care about guest experience. For anyone visiting Los Angeles, this hotel offers the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and charm. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Fenix Hotel Hollywood
Staying at Fenix Hotel Hollywood was a solid experience overall. While most hotels in the U.S. don’t provide slippers—so I regretted not bringing my own—the real highlight here is having a washer and dryer right in the room. That’s a game-changer when traveling, especially for longer stays or if you need to freshen up your clothes. The location is excellent—just about 200 meters from the Walk of Fame, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions on foot or by public transit. However, I should mention that the area isn’t very safe at night, so we kept both front and back doors locked throughout our stay. It’s not ideal for late-night strolls, but the convenience and central spot make up for it. If you value practicality, good access, and a comfortable base in Hollywood, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hollywood Walk of Fame
This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard makes exploring the area so convenient. Parking is manageable, and taxis are readily available. It’s also very close to Universal Studios, which is a huge plus for those planning to visit. Just note that housekeeping needs to be requested in advance. The Indian cleaning staff member is incredibly kind and thorough—the room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or groceries. I brought a small pot to make tea and coffee, which made self-catering easy and fun. One thing to mention: there’s a small group of homeless individuals who often stay near the entrance. I try to leave some food each night, and if you’re staying here, please be respectful and understanding—they’re part of the neighborhood too. A little kindness goes a long way.

The area is well-connected with nearby grocery stores and Panda Mart, making daily essentials easy to grab. What really stands out is the great value for money—free parking is a big plus, especially if you're driving. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean with consistent attention to detail in housekeeping. Breakfast is basic—just bread slices, coffee, and tea—but it’s enough to start the day. Overall, it’s a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location, cleanliness, and a no-frills experience without compromising on comfort.

The suite itself is spacious and full of vintage charm. The living room sofa is so comfortable I never wanted to leave it, and the bed in the bedroom was pure bliss—great sleep quality. The only minor downside is that the suite faces the street, so there’s some traffic noise, but the view of the bustling Walk of Fame from the window makes up for it completely. You’re literally steps away from iconic landmarks, and the atmosphere is electric. This place truly captures the spirit of old Hollywood. A must-stay if you're visiting LA.
J J Grand Hotel
The hotel was extremely dirty and the cleaning service was completely inadequate. Daily housekeeping only included making the bed and changing the bathroom linens—often with visible stains and water rings. I’d return from a day out to find toothpaste smears in the sink, and hair left in the toilet bowl, which was absolutely unacceptable. Even the complimentary hairdryer was greasy and filthy—definitely not something you’d want to use. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were far below what I expected for the price, making this stay very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a decent, hygienic place to stay.
