The room itself was immaculate, with a cozy bed, plush pillows, thoughtful lighting, and floor-to-ceiling windows facing Ambedkar Road—perfect for soaking in morning light. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service, always ready to help without being intrusive. Breakfast was a highlight: a diverse buffet featuring authentic Indian delicacies, a fresh egg and omelette station, seasonal fruits, and unlimited Americanos, espressos, and chai. The rooftop lounge and restaurant, Veranda, is a real gem—locals frequent it regularly, and on weekend evenings, they even host live local bands, giving the place a vibrant, community vibe. I consistently choose Executive Enclave over chain hotels because of its unique character, personalized touches, and that rare sense of authenticity. My stay at Golden Chariot the Boutique Hotel, Andheri was just okay. When I arrived, the hotel wasn’t ready to accommodate the five guests I had booked for—thankfully they were willing to work it out later. However, one TV in the room didn’t work, which was a bit frustrating. The bathroom drainage also looked unclean and needed attention. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but there were noticeable issues with basic amenities and cleanliness. If they improved maintenance and housekeeping standards, it could be a much better option.

We booked our room over a month in advance, but despite multiple attempts to contact the owner for confirmation, we received no response. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was extremely unfriendly. They took our passports, photographed them, and then took pictures of us without asking for consent—this made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff then called their boss, put me on the phone, and told me outright that they couldn’t provide us with a room and that there was nothing they could do to help. It was frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. We were left stranded with no alternative accommodation arranged. This experience was far below expectations, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
