We noticed some mosquitoes in the room, so it’s worth bringing repellent or using an electric fan. Also, the sound insulation isn’t great—noisy neighbors or footsteps from adjacent rooms could be heard clearly, especially at night. Still, considering the unbeatable location and reasonable rates, this place offers solid value for money. If you’re not too sensitive to noise and prepared for minor bugs, it’s a great base for exploring Rio.
