The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the airport, perfectly situated between Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. Just step outside, cross the street, and you're right on the sand—fine, soft sand that feels like magic beach powder under your feet. Every staff member we met was incredibly polite and genuinely warm, always greeting guests with a smile. The pool area is stunning, and the view from outside—where mountains meet the ocean—is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. We spent two full days just relaxing by the pool and on the beach, doing nothing but soaking in the vibe. We checked in early and were initially assigned a sea-view room at the end of the building, but my husband wanted something better, so we switched rooms twice before landing on a great one. It was worth the effort. The only downside? The price is steep—nearly $400 per night—but honestly, given the location, service, and overall experience, it’s not unreasonable. It’s just hard on the wallet when you’re budget-conscious!

The location is excellent—just a 250-meter walk from Ipanema Beach, right between Postos 5 and 6, making it super convenient for beach lovers. Everything you need is within walking distance: great restaurants, cafes, shops, and local vibe. The staff were friendly and the check-in process was smooth. However, there were a few downsides. We noticed some mosquitoes in the room, so it’s worth bringing repellent or using an electric fan. Also, the sound insulation isn’t great—noisy neighbors or footsteps from adjacent rooms could be heard clearly, especially at night. Still, considering the unbeatable location and reasonable rates, this place offers solid value for money. If you’re not too sensitive to noise and prepared for minor bugs, it’s a great base for exploring Rio.

Breakfast was generous and varied, featuring fresh, delicious fruits that made mornings special. Our room offered a stunning view of the favela, Copacabana Beach, and Sugarloaf Mountain—absolutely unforgettable. The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with a reliable coffee maker and a fridge that actually kept things cold (a rare plus!). The bathroom had a fixed shower head over the tub—simple but effective. Overall, it’s a cozy, well-run place that truly delivered on comfort and convenience during our stay in Rio. We’ll definitely come back.
