My stay at Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View was absolutely fantastic—far better than I expected. I checked in on the 22nd and checked out the 23rd, right before Christmas, yet the room rate remained incredibly affordable, which totally exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to major spots like Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui, with easy access to the iconic tram (Ding Ding) and plenty of local charm around every corner. There are countless authentic street food stalls and neighborhood restaurants right outside the hotel—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or exploring Hong Kong’s famous local flavors. The highlight has to be the buffet breakfast and dinner. For just a few tens of dollars per person, it's a steal—cheaper than a bowl of beef noodle soup at any casual eatery. The selection is impressive: a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes, fresh seafood, hot mains, desserts, and more. Everything is well-prepared, clean, and delicious. Plus, the dining area features an open-air terrace where you can enjoy your meal with a breeze and a view of the city lights—such a special touch that elevates the whole experience. Overall, this hotel nails everything: convenience, value, comfort, and atmosphere. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent accessibility make it ideal for travelers looking to explore Hong Kong without breaking the bank. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Staying at Mini Central was an absolute delight for the price and location. Nestled in the heart of Hong Kong, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk or quick subway ride from Central, yet still offers great value. What stood out to me was the daily complimentary towel and face cloth at reception—simple but thoughtful, especially when traveling light. I’d heard some complaints about the stairs, so I actually counted them: 50 steps (plus a slight incline at the beginning), so definitely wear comfortable shoes—no high heels here! While the staircase is noticeable, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The rooms are clean, staff are friendly, and the neighborhood is vibrant and well-connected. For this kind of price, you can’t ask for much more. If you’re looking for a no-frills, centrally located stay with a few little extras, this place delivers.

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Mong Kok, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The family-friendly triple room was spacious enough for our group, and the price was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. While the room isn’t large, it’s well-designed, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely stay here again on future visits to Hong Kong. A great choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience without breaking the bank.

Oriental Lander Hotel
I've been staying at Oriental Lander Hotel since 2008, and it's great to see that the service and overall vibe remain consistent over the years—really comfortable and reliable. During a recent visit, a typhoon prompted me to consider checking out early, but unfortunately the hotel couldn’t accommodate that request. If you're planning a trip where weather conditions might affect your plans, I’d strongly recommend adding a small travel protection plan (under $100) when booking—it’s a small price for peace of mind. I was also running on empty after juggling kids and sightseeing, so no photos were taken—my apologies! Despite that, the location is excellent, staff are friendly, and the value for money is outstanding. Definitely a place I’ll return to.
West Inn
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and after the pandemic, I decided to book again—happy to say it still delivers! The service was exceptional; they upgraded me to a double bed room without any extra charge. In Hong Kong’s tight space, having two huge beds is such a luxury—it made our stay so much more comfortable. The only minor downside? The air conditioning makes a bit of noise when running, so we just turned it off during autumn and winter and used a fan instead. Location-wise, it’s perfect—plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, plus a small park nearby for a relaxing stroll after dinner. Overall, fantastic value, warm hospitality, and a convenient spot. Definitely coming back!
Mong Kok Sunny Day Hotel
The location of this hotel is perfect—right next to the MTR station, so getting around Mong Kok is super convenient. The room was much larger than expected and spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the nearby dim sum shop just outside the hotel—it’s open from breakfast until late at night, and the congee is absolutely delicious. I ended up eating there almost every morning. With great value, excellent cleanliness, and unbeatable convenience, I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong.
