The room itself was spacious, and I booked a corner sea-view room—what a view! One side offers panoramic views of the bustling Tsuen Wan skyline, while the other opens up to stunning ocean vistas. It's truly refreshing to wake up to such scenery. The only minor downside was the lighting in the room—it felt a bit too dim for comfort. Adding a bedside lamp or slightly brighter fixtures would make it perfect. If you're craving late-night snacks, head over to Luk Fu Road in Tsuen Wan—great local eats that are both affordable and delicious. Getting around is a breeze: the MTR entrance is literally next to the hotel, and the Star Ferry stop is just a short walk away. Need to grab a quick bite? There are countless local cafés and tea restaurants nearby, but the real highlight was the hotel’s buffet. I couldn’t get enough of the mini pineapple buns—they were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and oh-so-delicious. Every baked item had such care and quality. On Christmas Eve, they even surprised us with a festive little tree-shaped dessert—so thoughtful! Plus, the front desk upgraded my room for free, which felt like a personal touch. Everyone from the lobby staff to housekeeping was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even the little details like having travel adapters available made a big difference. Yes, the hotel has some vintage charm, but it’s elegant and spacious—never feels cramped. Cleanliness was excellent throughout. This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s an experience. Apologies for not remembering perfectly), were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. They even helped us load all our luggage into a seven-seater vehicle upon check-out—such a thoughtful touch! Also, the fifth-floor laundry facility is spotless and well-maintained, making it super convenient. From location to service, everything was top-notch. This hotel truly delivers value and comfort. Around the hotel, there's a great selection of convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants—on the ground floor alone is Malay One, perfect for a quick bite. A short walk leads you straight to Kennedy Town waterfront, where you can enjoy peaceful evening strolls along the seafront with beautiful views. It’s such a relaxing escape without having to go far.
