They surprised us with two extra breakfasts, which were delicious and thoughtful. The staff were incredible—from the guest relations manager Dora, who proactively checked in about my room type and arrival details, to the front desk team who made me feel genuinely valued. Their warmth and attention to detail made the whole experience feel personal and special. Every aspect of this resort, from the stunning views to the exceptional service, exceeded my expectations. The location is ideal if you're attending events nearby—the venue is just a short ride away, and it's also close to the beach. It’s a bit farther from the duty-free shopping area, but that didn’t bother me at all. Overall, an excellent stay with top-notch comfort and value. Would definitely come back!

I usually avoid male masseurs, but Bill’s technique was exceptional—he asked detailed questions about my body condition, used traditional Chinese medicine principles, and significantly eased my neck stiffness. The hotel itself has a beautiful Balinese-inspired design with a real sense of style. It directly overlooks Xiaodonghai Beach, so we could walk straight into the sea. The pool area is stunning and peaceful. Our ocean-view room had a private balcony with breathtaking views—this morning, I even caught a sunrise while heading to the bathroom (what luck!). Breakfast was more extensive than most reviews suggest—while not mind-blowing in flavor, everything was fresh and varied, definitely not bad at all. The only minor downsides are the quiet atmosphere (which some might find relaxing, others a bit lonely), and slightly outdated room amenities with a faint old-hotel scent. But honestly? The hotel’s location is convenient for exploring Dadonghai, with easy access to public transit and nearby restaurants and shops. One minor downside was that the spa couldn’t accommodate two guests at the same time—an odd limitation since we’ve experienced flexibility at other hotels. If demand is high enough to cause this issue, it might be worth considering hiring more staff to meet guest needs. But honestly, this small inconvenience didn’t take away from the great experience.
