This Holiday Inn in Hamburg's Hafencity deserves a solid five-star review. The hotel itself is brand new with modern amenities, and despite being busy, the rooms are quiet and peaceful once you're up the stairs. The lobby is long but functional, with a coworking area that’s a nice touch—though a bit crowded during peak times. The front desk staff were friendly and professional; several young team members went out of their way to help with smiles and patience. Plus, just a 10-minute walk away is a brand-new shopping complex with plenty of restaurants and boutiques—walking through it feels almost like being back in Shenzhen, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a great vibe, this hotel hits all the right notes. Highly recommended!

We've stayed at this hotel for the third time now, and it just keeps getting better. The value for money is outstanding—clean rooms, most recently renovated with a modern touch, and everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast is generous and delicious, and the restaurant food is consistently excellent. But what truly stands out is the staff—especially Frau Fischer, whose warm and welcoming attitude makes you feel like you're visiting friends rather than staying in a hotel. Just a short walk from the bus stop, you can easily reach Niendorfer Markt, and from there, take the U2 line all the way to Jungfernstieg. Everything is so accessible, making it perfect for exploring Hamburg. With such great comfort, convenience, and hospitality, we’ll definitely be back.

Two other guests were particularly disruptive and made life miserable. I even had written documentation of the issues, but management ignored my concerns and failed to follow through on promises. It was deeply disappointing. Thankfully, the police responded quickly when things escalated, which helped prevent further problems. Overall, the service, safety, and communication were severely lacking. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The value for money is terrible, and the entire stay left me feeling drained and betrayed.
