The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. Throughout our visit, the service stood out—every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. Breakfast was a highlight: generous in variety and outstanding in quality. We also dined at Mezzanine one evening and were thoroughly impressed by both the food and the elegant atmosphere. Located right in the heart of Cape Town, the hotel’s position couldn’t be better—walking distance to tours, attractions, restaurants, and shops made exploring effortless. From start to finish, we felt truly cared for. This wasn’t just a stay—it was an experience. I’d highly recommend the Taj Cape Town to any traveler visiting Cape Town. It’s worth every penny.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel and I'm already planning to come back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt premium and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect—close to all the main attractions yet quiet enough to relax. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Even the breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and well-presented. Every penny spent was worth it, and I’d happily return again and again.

One standout feature is the innovative 'design for security' approach: the glass doors leading to the stairs and elevator are only accessible with your room key, blending safety with sleek modernity. Breakfast was well-executed, offering both a generous buffet and the option to order hot dishes—perfect for different tastes. But what truly stole the show was the underground whisky bar, boasting an impressive selection that would satisfy even the most discerning connoisseur. Every detail, from the ambiance to the attention to service, felt curated with care. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. 10/10 without hesitation.

Staying at the InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town was hands down one of the most memorable hotel experiences of my life. The room itself is absolutely stunning—overlooking Table Mountain, with breathtaking views every single day. Sunrise, sunset, night lights—it’s like living inside a postcard. I traveled solo and was initially nervous about heading into the city, but the front desk manager went out of his way to walk me to the station, even taking photos along the way. We ended up chatting like old friends. The whole property radiates timeless elegance—from the grand entrance hall to the serene harbor courtyard. Compared to some nearby luxury hotels that charge double the price, this one offers far better sightlines and no obstructions. Breakfast was an absolute highlight: oyster bar included! As someone who loves raw oysters, I was thrilled. One day, my grilled meat wasn’t quite right—I mentioned it casually, and the kitchen actually re-cooked it for me the next morning. That kind of attention to detail? Rare. There’s also a fine dining restaurant on-site, run by a female chef-owner whose dishes are deeply rooted in cultural storytelling. She once created a dish specifically for Michelle Obama—an incredible touch. It’s clear this place celebrates women’s voices and creativity. After several days here, I can confidently say this is one of my all-time favorite hotels. A true gem.

We stayed at Palm House Boutique Hotel and Spa in November with our family and two young kids, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Carolyn went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information and support we needed—her attention to detail set the tone for our entire trip. During our stay, we truly enjoyed the Poolhouse area, especially the heated pool surrounded by lush greenery—perfect for relaxing and letting the kids play safely. The spa was a highlight: luxurious treatments that left us feeling completely refreshed. We dined at both restaurants, and every meal was exceptional. Chef Gregory Henderson crafted a menu full of creativity and storytelling—each dish felt intentional and deeply thought out. Paired with Richard’s outstanding wine selections and the impeccable service from Kenny and Nadine, dinner became a true culinary journey. And let’s not forget the cocktails served by Quinton and Lucas by the pool—refreshing, expertly made, and the perfect way to unwind. Max, Ilze, and their whole team ensured nothing was missing—we never had to ask twice, and any request was handled with warmth and speed. This hotel isn’t just great—it’s exceptional.
