Responses were prompt and helpful, giving us peace of mind throughout our stay. The housekeeping team truly stood out—they kept the room immaculate every day, and even noticed when a pack of makeup pads was missing, promptly restocking it without being asked. It’s impressive how attentive they are, especially since we barely used any of the complimentary amenities. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated across from Zhongshan Park, a spacious and beautiful green space ideal for walking with kids. We took full advantage of the nearby trails and enjoyed some relaxing strolls in nature. We booked through a platform, and the deal was outstanding—great value for money. Staying at the IYH Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Riverside Center Expo Park Branch) was an absolute delight. The room is well-equipped with a washer, microwave, and refrigerator—perfect for long-term guests or business travelers who want convenience without having to rely on external services. Cleanliness is outstanding; every corner feels fresh and hygienic, which makes a big difference when you're away from home. The room itself has excellent natural lighting, and even without turning on the air conditioning, it stayed comfortably warm—a nice touch during cooler evenings. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond. On check-out, they surprised me with a cute little thermal plush toy as a gift—such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! Plus, the hotel overlooks the Huangpu River, so the evening skyline views are simply breathtaking. Watching the city lights twinkle across the water was pure magic. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located, and thoughtfully designed place to stay in Shanghai, this one is absolutely worth considering. Highly recommended!
