The front desk is on the second floor, where staff were warm and welcoming. They offered hot towels, afternoon tea snacks, and freshly brewed coffee—such a thoughtful gesture. The afternoon tea here is definitely a highlight—my favorite part was the creamy, rich milk tea that tasted surprisingly delicious. The Western-style pastries, yogurt, and desserts were also well-executed and stood out. The room itself is on the smaller side but impeccably clean, with a charming Russian architectural style that really adds character to the stay. One quirky detail: the bathroom faucet is extremely tall—despite being 5'6" (around 168 cm), I still had to stretch just to reach the clothesline! That’s some authentic Russian design for you. Inside, the heating system works so well that you forget it’s freezing outside—perfect for winter visits. That moment stole our child’s heart: he refused to leave the hotel the next morning, even when the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market called his name. He kept asking, 'Can we go back to eat Auntie Huang’s special yogurt?' Such thoughtful touches make this stay unforgettable.
