But this past May Day, with friends everywhere else enjoying their trips, even I started feeling restless. Special thanks to Lucy, the tall and friendly staff member who gently warned me about the busy breakfast rush during peak hours. Without her tip, I’d have been overwhelmed! And the mini bar in the room? Overwhelmingly stocked—so much food and drinks I couldn’t possibly finish. Bonus points for being pet-friendly, even if my shy cat didn’t get to enjoy it. Seeing those adorable dogs at check-out brought a real smile to my face. It’s sad knowing this place will soon close, but since we can’t change that, I’m glad I came here one last time—to truly experience its quiet magic before it fades.
