Staying at Holiday Inn Lisbon was an excellent experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short ride from the airport and within easy reach of all the main attractions. While it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest metro station, it’s not a major issue since public transport options are readily available nearby. The breakfast buffet was outstanding—fresh, diverse, and delicious. Rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

I’ll definitely be back! The hotel’s location is perfect—right next to Parque Eduardo VII and Avenida, making it super convenient for getting around Lisbon. The room was modern and incredibly comfortable, with a great bed and pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. The large balcony came with outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing or enjoying morning coffee. I loved that the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet—very practical and private. The rooftop pool is heated (around 30°C), with plenty of sun loungers, extra towels, and a small hot tub—ideal for unwinding after a long day. The rooftop bar was closed during our stay, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast was fantastic—diverse, fresh, and especially amazing with the freshly squeezed orange juice. It really kick-started my mornings. This place offers such great value and comfort. Highly recommended—I’m already planning my return!

However, one thing to note is that the neighborhood has a heavy concentration of foreign backpackers and partygoers, especially in the parks and streets. We travel with our school-aged kids frequently to experience different cultures, and we prefer quieter, more family-friendly areas. If you're looking for a vibrant, lively atmosphere with late-night energy and don’t mind some street activity, then this place might be perfect for you—especially if you’re okay with spending around $400 per night. For families seeking peace and quiet, though, another area might be a better fit.

The hotel is perfectly located near a wide variety of restaurants, and I highly recommend trying Cardo Restaurant for authentic Portuguese flavors and drinks—excellent food and top-notch service. Just a 5-minute walk to Parque Metro Station (Blue Line), which connects to major attractions and other transit lines, making exploration around Lisbon super convenient. It’s also less than 5 minutes to the Pink Line if you’re heading to the airport—very practical. Thanks to the platform for offering such a great selection of accommodations; it made my Lisbon trip memorable and stress-free.
