There are lots of tourists mixed with some suspicious characters hanging around narrow alleys, and as someone of Asian descent, I felt noticeably more vulnerable. For safety, I’d strongly recommend taking taxis instead of walking, especially after dark—don’t risk it for a few euros saved. It’s only a 3-minute walk to Primark, and you can reach Plaza Mayor, along with the famous Bear and Strawberry Tree monument, in under 15 minutes on foot. Perfect for exploring Madrid’s city center without needing a car. Great value, excellent convenience, and a top choice for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility.
