Holiday Inn Express Cartagena Manga

Staying at Holiday Inn Express Cartagena Manga was an excellent choice for my trip to Cartagena. The hotel is conveniently located near the cargo port, making it easy to access if you're traveling for business or just exploring the area. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, with spotless cleanliness throughout the property. My room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was fantastic—varied, fresh, and delicious, with both local flavors and international options. Staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From check-in to check-out, the service was outstanding. This place truly delivers great value for money and deserves every bit of its high rating. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Hotel Ibiza Cartagena

My 5-star rating goes to Ms. Alcira, the front desk staff—thank you so much for your genuine kindness and warm hospitality! Your attention to detail and willingness to help without expecting anything in return made a huge difference. It's clear the hotel owner is truly lucky to have someone like you on their team. While the hotel itself is great, it’s your exceptional service that truly stands out and made our stay unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back just to experience your wonderful attitude again!

Casa Roman

Staying at Casa Roman was an absolute highlight of my trip to Cartagena! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the historic district and all the main attractions, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The hotel itself has such a charming, authentic vibe with beautiful details in every corner—like stepping into a romantic European storybook. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even offering a small welcome gift upon check-in. My room was spotless, cozy, and had a comfortable bed that made falling asleep easy—and waking up refreshed. The breakfast buffet offered a great mix of local flavors and fresh ingredients, making mornings truly enjoyable. It’s rare to find such charm, comfort, and hospitality at this level of value. I’d highly recommend Casa Roman to anyone looking for a memorable, intimate stay in Cartagena. Definitely planning to come back!

Hotel Buenos Aires

The Hotel Buenos Aires in Cartagena is absolutely fantastic! Located just a short walk from the heart of the city, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the colonial area and nearby beaches. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep—plus the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver during the hot days. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful, even offering a small welcome gift upon check-in. It’s rare to find such great value with this level of service and comfort. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cartagena—it truly stands out.

Hotel Sol Del Este

Our stay at Hotel Sol Del Este in Cartagena didn’t meet expectations. The air conditioning in the room was ineffective—even on maximum setting, it never felt cool enough, making it uncomfortable, especially during the hot evenings. We had to ask twice for towels, and despite being a couple, only one towel was initially provided. The bed was very uncomfortable—too firm and lacking proper support, which disrupted our sleep quality. To make things worse, there was only one electrical outlet in the entire room, which made charging devices a real challenge, particularly with multiple gadgets. While the staff were polite, the service responsiveness could be improved. Overall, the room didn’t deliver value for money, and we’d recommend looking elsewhere if comfort and convenience are priorities.

Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites

Staying at Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites in Cartagena was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the variety of hostels available in different neighborhoods like El Centro or Getsemani. Located near Manga, this place offers a unique charm with solid facilities—especially the pool area, where comfy loungers and a relaxed vibe make it perfect for unwinding. My room wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was clean and private, with an internal bathroom. One downside: no towels provided—just a heads-up if you’re planning to stay. The hostel is connected to other hostels offering group chats and activities, though I didn’t experience any during my visit—maybe timing or season affects that. The poolside bar was a highlight: great drink prices, laid-back music, inflatable mats, and decent food options, although it closes earlier than expected. Breakfast was included and surprisingly good—fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and delicious pancakes that stood out. Right around the corner is Verona Pizza, absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from Getsemani. Plus, there are supermarkets nearby, making daily needs super convenient. While it didn’t blow me away completely, the overall experience was solid, friendly staff, good location, and excellent value. Definitely recommendable for travelers looking for a relaxed yet central base.

Costa Caribe Inn

I made the reservation and paid in advance, but upon arrival I couldn’t find the hostel at all—no one nearby knew where it was. There’s no phone number listed for contact, and messages went unanswered for hours. I ended up stuck with no way to check in, which was extremely frustrating. The whole experience felt unreliable and misleading. I can’t recommend this place at all—it definitely raised red flags about being a scam. Very disappointing, especially after paying upfront. Definitely not worth it.

Hotel Stay Villa Marta

The location is extremely isolated—there's absolutely nothing around, not even a convenience store or restaurant within walking distance. Public transportation options are practically nonexistent, making it very inconvenient to get around. While the property itself is clean and well-maintained, the lack of nearby amenities and accessibility really drags down the overall experience. For the price and rating, this isn't a good value. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have no other choice.

Guakmaya Hostel

Staying at Guakmaya Hostel was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—safe, quiet, and just a short walk from Castillo San Felipe. I loved how convenient it was to get around the city using public transit, and being so close to one of Cartagena’s most iconic landmarks made every day feel like an adventure. Check-in is done online beforehand, and the automated door system with secure keycodes makes entry super smooth and hassle-free. The rooms are clean, well-organized, and offer great value for money. Whether you're here to unwind or explore the vibrant streets of Cartagena, this hostel hits all the right notes. It’s clear they care about guest experience, and I’d definitely come back. A true gem in a fantastic neighborhood.

Hotel Cartagena DC

Staying at Hotel Cartagena DC was an absolute delight—perfect for both relaxation and work. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from downtown Cartagena, with a shopping center and gas station right around the corner. The family room was quiet, spacious, and well-designed, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Cleanliness was top-notch, staff were friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout our stay. Breakfast was solid, though a bit limited in variety—still tasty and satisfying. Hot water ran smoothly, the bathrooms were stylish and functional, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the dedicated workspace with individual lighting, ideal for remote work. The pool was warm and inviting, and the city views from the rooms were breathtaking. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully done—from the amenities to the attention to detail. It’s a true gem in Cartagena, offering great value and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again.

Casa Hostal la VIE en Rose

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The cleanliness was terrible—moldy grime stuck in the bathroom for months, and the bed sheets were stained with what looked like old sweat and hair. To make matters worse, the photos online are completely misleading; the actual property looks nothing like the pictures. When I raised concerns, the platform claimed that since payment had been made, any decision not to stay was the guest's responsibility—and refused to take accountability. It felt like being scammed. The food was both expensive and awful; I paid nearly 30,000 COP for a lunch that tasted off, almost spoiled. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing, from the hygiene to the lack of transparency and customer care. Absolutely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Neos Hotel Cartagena

The Neos Hotel Cartagena is an excellent choice for a comfortable stay! While it's a bit outside the main tourist areas, getting around is super easy with Uber or taxis—just a few minutes away from the city center. The hotel itself is peaceful and well-maintained, with clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff who go the extra mile. I was really impressed by the overall vibe and value for money. If you're looking for a quiet yet convenient base in Cartagena, this is definitely a top pick. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting.
