Staying at Ming Garden Hotel & Residences always feels like a treat. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a busy week. Parking was a bit tight on Sunday, but since I was checking out that day, it wasn’t an issue. Overall, everything was excellent—from service to amenities. Marimari Marina Service Condo
Staying at Marimari Marina Service Condo in Kota Kinabalu was an absolute highlight of our trip. Located right across from the airport, it’s incredibly convenient—just a 10 MYR ride from the terminal, and no need to worry about long waits or complicated transfers. Though there’s no front desk, the host is super responsive through the platform, and when we arrived, they were already waiting with a car to greet us and escort us straight to the unit. The staff was friendly, spoke fluent Mandarin, and made us feel welcome right away. The apartment itself is spacious—around 110 sqm with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two balconies. It’s clean, well-maintained, and feels like home. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with all essentials for cooking, and the utensils are more than enough for everyday meals. The view faces a main road but still offers partial sea views from the balcony—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. We stayed with a group of friends and family, and everyone loved the roomy layout and comfort. For the price, this is seriously great value. Would definitely book again.

I was completely blown away by how perfect the location is—just a 10-minute walk to Pasar Philipin, the local wet market, grocery stores, and more. Everything you need is within reach without needing a ride. The amenities are well thought out, and every single staff member I interacted with went above and beyond. I arrived late at night, and the front desk agent (even though I didn’t catch her name) was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful—she made me feel right at home. One thing that truly touched me: I accidentally left my wallet behind. Only after reaching the airport did I realize it was missing. I called the hotel immediately, and they confirmed they had kept it safe for me. I was so relieved and emotional—I couldn’t believe how thoughtful and responsible everyone was. From housekeeping to front desk, every team member showed genuine care and professionalism. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a memorable experience. I already know I’ll be back. My stay at Aston Boutec Hotel Lintas Plaza in Kota Kinabalu was disappointing overall. The room was extremely small—barely enough space to unpack luggage, and the layout felt cramped and inefficient. Cleaning standards were poor; I noticed stains on the sheets and hair clogging the shower drain, which raised concerns about hygiene. The location isn’t ideal either—surrounded by quiet streets with limited dining or shopping options nearby. Getting to the city center required multiple transfers and a long commute, making it inconvenient for travelers. Communication with staff was frustrating too—responses were slow, unclear, and often repetitive. Overall, the value for money didn’t justify the experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others.

This is hands down the most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed at, and it offers incredible value for money. The place is spotless—every corner is clean and well-maintained. The interior design is stylish and inviting, with a cozy, homely vibe that makes you feel right at home. Facilities are top-notch: laundry machines, drinking water, tea and coffee supplies, a fully equipped kitchen, board games, books, hairdryers, irons, and even quality toiletries—basically, everything you could possibly need. But what truly sets Faloe apart is the team. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. They genuinely care about guests’ experiences. I had such an amazing time here—so much so that I stayed for two nights and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!
