Nestled in the upper floors of the sleek Cerulean Tower, the building has a quiet elegance that stands out amid the bustling city. It feels like a calm sanctuary, where sophistication meets serenity. Check-in was smooth and welcoming—the staff spoke fluent English and Japanese with genuine warmth and professionalism. I was assigned a room on the 33rd floor, and stepping inside felt like being welcomed into a private rooftop view of Tokyo. The skyline unfolded before me, with Shibuya’s vibrant streets stretching below. The room itself was minimalist yet refined—warm wood flooring, soft ambient lighting, and a calming atmosphere that made every moment feel luxurious. The attention to detail is impressive: high-quality toiletries, traditional Japanese yukata, and even tea sets included. For shopping, just hop on the Ginza Line to Sanyo-mae Station—just a short walk from the Sanyo Department Store's Nihonbashi branch, where tax refunds are quick and hassle-free. A taxi to Isetan Shinjuku costs around ¥2,500, which is reasonable. There’s also a convenience store in the underground passage linking to the station—but note it’s not open 24 hours. Breakfast is a highlight: the Japanese-style meal is prepared by the hotel’s in-house restaurant, Mizuran, and delivers top-quality flavors that leave you truly satisfied. Just remember to order by 10:00 AM. Overall, this hotel is ideal for business travelers, shoppers, or those exploring nearby attractions. The bathtub is surprisingly deep, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring Tokyo. And the convenience of having a small, dedicated dining option right on the ground floor? Absolutely unbeatable. Whether you're craving a quick bite or just want something simple and fresh, it's all just steps away. This place strikes the perfect balance between modern comfort, practicality, and charm—definitely a top pick for anyone visiting Shibuya.

Staying at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—right across from a bus stop that goes straight to Shibuya or Shinjuku, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. Getting around Tokyo couldn’t be easier. The room was surprisingly spacious—two 28-inch suitcases fit perfectly, and there was still plenty of room to move around. The bathroom even had a bathtub, which was a nice touch after a long day of exploring. The hairdryer was excellent—powerful and fast-drying. I asked the front desk if they sold it, but unfortunately they don’t. Still, the overall value and comfort made this stay a standout. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Practical touches like the in-room washer and microwave made my stay even more convenient. I also loved the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby—starting the day with a fresh brew was pure bliss. There’s a helpful staff member from Shanghai who handles everything with professionalism and care. Getting here is super easy: exit JR Shinjuku Station from the East Square entrance, walk toward Isetan, and once you see the LV boutique, you’re just about 100 meters away. Take the Toei Subway to Shinjuku-sanchome, exiting through either C3 or C4—the closest access points. Everything you need—from dining and shopping to essentials—is within walking distance, including a 7-Eleven right downstairs. This hotel offers unbeatable convenience and comfort. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

What really stood out was the front desk staff: incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they happily stored our luggage until check-in time in the afternoon—a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, getting to Asakusa Temple is super convenient—just a short walk from the nearest subway station. The only minor downside is that the station entrance has no elevator, just stairs, but it’s still very accessible. This was our first hotel in Japan with my parents, and the positive impression they left with us makes this place truly special. Great value, great vibe, and definitely a repeat visit on the list.

The room itself is well-equipped with international-standard amenities, and check-out time is generous at 12 PM—much later than most Japanese hotels, which usually close by 11 AM. They even provide complimentary pajamas, which added a nice touch of comfort. Overall, it’s a great blend of convenience, quality, and value.
