The rooms blend classic Peranakan charm with modern elegance, but the real highlight is the outdoor pool and lush garden—a tropical oasis that feels like your own private retreat, especially great for photos. I was also thrilled to find Aesop amenities in the bathroom—small details that speak volumes about attention to quality. But the standout? The personal concierge, @Sena. She truly anticipated every need before I even asked—from helping plan our itinerary before arrival to securing restaurant reservations and local tips during our stay. Her warmth and professionalism made all the difference. And then there’s the dining experience at “Xian Cheng” on the 6th floor, recently awarded a Michelin Star. The Cantonese-Fujian fusion cuisine is exquisite: the Buddha’s Delight (Fo Tiao Qiang) is rich and aromatic, the satay black tiger prawns burst with flavor, and the ginger duck is simply unforgettable. Every meal felt like a celebration. In short, this place nails every aspect—location, facilities, service, and food. Our New Year’s trip with my mom and grandmother was absolutely perfect. Since we were traveling with an 83-year-old, convenience and comfort were top priorities—especially easy access to public transit and rooms with two queen beds. After checking several options, the Sheraton Xiamen on Jiahua Road stood out as the ideal choice. It’s just a short walk from two metro stations, and there are bus stops nearby for easy access to various destinations. SM City Plaza is within walking distance—great for dining and shopping. Special thanks to Jerry for upgrading us to a quieter room at the end of the corridor; it was peaceful and noise-free, which made for excellent rest, especially for our elderly family members. Our booking included breakfast for two, but Jerry kindly arranged an extra breakfast for my grandmother—delicious and well-balanced, with authentic local flavors that changed slightly each day. The bathroom design was exceptional: spacious, functional, and completely leak-proof—a rare find! My mom and I were both truly impressed. This stay exceeded expectations in every way.

The surrounding area has plenty of amenities, making it ideal for both business trips and leisure visits. With excellent value for money and a peaceful, unique atmosphere, this place is definitely worth returning to.

The next morning, I tried to sleep in but was disturbed by ongoing construction noise. Instead of just ignoring it, the front desk proactively offered to stop the work if it bothered me—I just needed to message them. They even followed up later via WeChat to confirm whether the noise had affected my rest. That level of care and attention is rare these days. The service went above and beyond, making the entire stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend this hotel for both business travelers and solo visitors alike.

Stayed at Putian Hotel (Xiamen Mingfa Plaza) and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious—far bigger than expected for the price—and everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The new front desk staff member, Yu Ni, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even when we weren’t sure how to ask our questions, she patiently guided us through everything. Location is excellent too—just a short walk from Xiamen Railway Station and surrounded by great dining options. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xiamen!

I've stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been excellent. The room was spotless and incredibly clean—especially the bedding, which felt fresh and odor-free, making for a truly restful night's sleep. The host responded quickly and was very attentive to every request. Location is fantastic: just a short walk from Wuyuan Bay (about 700 meters), and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. It’s also super convenient for airport transfers. I highly recommend this place for travelers visiting Xiamen—it’s cozy, well-maintained, and offers great value. Definitely coming back!
