I struck up conversations with guests from different countries and even met families who were staying here—they all raved about the experience too. The dorm rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for a hostel, and the beds are surprisingly restful. Some noise is expected in a shared space, but nothing that disrupts sleep. Breakfast is excellent—fresh bread, fruit, local pastries, and juice options. Dinner offers good variety, though the sauces were slightly on the salty side, which is minor. There’s a great games area with billiards and board games, plus a bar serving perfectly balanced cocktails—no over-sweetness or harsh alcohol burn. Families love it here, and so do solo travelers. I appreciated the straightforward setup—just what you need without any extras. Towels are available for rent at €1.50 each, but don’t expect shampoo or shower gel on-site; bring your own. Breakfast was modest but sufficient—enough to start the day right. The staff were warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. While it’s not a hotel by any stretch, the value for money is solid, especially for budget travelers or solo explorers. If you’re after comfort, this isn’t the place. But if you want a clean, safe, and convenient base in a great location, this hostel delivers exactly that.

We stayed at the International Students' Hostel for three nights and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Stöckach station, with multiple U-Bahn lines just steps away. We reached downtown in just 2–5 stops, taking only about 10 minutes. There are a few free parking spots, but they’re not reservable, so we’d recommend leaving the car at home if possible. Being directly beside a busy street and an above-ground train line means noise can be an issue at night—especially during summer months without air conditioning, so keep that in mind when booking. That said, everything else was excellent: the beds were comfortable, the room was spacious enough, the bathroom was clean and functional, and the shower worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was blazing fast. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful—though it didn’t include any hot dishes beyond fried eggs, which wasn’t a problem for us. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Highly recommended—we’d definitely come back.

At first glance, I was a bit nervous I’d made a mistake booking this place—especially since we only had two days in Stuttgart. But after checking in, I realized it’s actually a charming little spot with a cozy vibe. No frills, sure, but honestly, that’s not a problem when you just need a clean room, a comfy bed, and a working bathroom. We didn’t need anything fancy. The hotel doesn’t have parking, so we had to leave our rental car at a garage about a block and a half away. One thing to note: the garage was closed on Sunday when we were leaving, but luckily someone was exiting just as we arrived, so we managed to get out without hassle. We dropped off our bags at reception, drove to the garage, then walked back. There are plenty of small restaurants and cafes nearby—perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner without having to go far. The room was warm initially, but thankfully there’s a portable evaporative cooler and a fan, which helped cool things down quickly. That said, outside noise is noticeable because of the train stop right outside the building—so if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Overall, the staff were friendly, the hotel was spotless, and the location is great for a short stay. I’d definitely recommend it for couples or solo travelers looking for a simple, convenient base during a quick visit.

The hotel requires online check-in via a download link and insists on submitting a copy of your ID, but there's no website with terms and conditions or privacy policy available—this raises serious red flags. When I called to clarify, the staff actually tried to convince me to cancel my booking, which felt extremely odd and unprofessional. The whole process was confusing and unsettling. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone and will definitely avoid it in the future.
Hotel Krone Bad Cannstatt
I stayed at Hotel Krone Bad Cannstatt and must say the experience was extremely disappointing. While the contactless entry via keybox worked smoothly, and power outlets and hot water in the bathroom were functional, almost every other aspect of the room fell far short of expectations. The overall condition was poorly maintained, with countless small and large issues—some so minor they felt absurd, like a trash can in the bathroom whose foot pedal didn’t work. The room’s ceiling has a steep slope in the middle, making it impossible to stand upright in the bathroom, yet the advertised square footage doesn’t account for this, which is misleading. Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable—frequent interruptions made video meetings nearly impossible. The TV was tiny and completely non-functional. The built-in cabinet in the bathroom had such low shelf height that even hanging a shirt was impossible; the shelves were broken, and loose parts were scattered inside. The light above the mirror was partially detached—an unsafe situation near a sink—and didn’t work at all. Towel rack was crooked and wobbly, faucets were heavily calcified (though still working), both soap dispensers were broken, and the showerhead had a faulty seal, causing water to spray everywhere instead of just through the shower head. Only one of two window blinds remained, and it couldn’t be secured—so it kept banging against the frame in the wind. The staircase was steep and narrow, extremely difficult to navigate with luggage, and the stairwell smelled musty and looked dirty. The desk was so small you couldn’t even sit properly in front of it—the chair creaked loudly, its back legs were loose, and it felt like it would collapse any second. All switches and controls were grimy, many wobbled or were loose. Windows needed to stay open constantly due to poor ventilation, but the location is noisy—traffic, construction nearby, and loud bar activity in the evenings made it impossible to relax. The bed was uncomfortable: the headboard looked grimy, the mattress was sagging with springs clearly poking through, and the pillows were thin and worn out. Service was particularly frustrating—multiple calls to the provided number failed (tried four times throughout the day); once I got voicemail, but no callback. Communication was limited to email or the booking app. After the first night, I requested to cancel the next two nights and get a refund, but my request was denied. Every issue I observed was documented with photos. Overall, the hotel lacks basic upkeep, offers poor value, and fails on multiple levels. Not recommended.

The room was clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, with excellent soundproofing that ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. Located just minutes from the city center, it’s perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Everything about this hotel screams quality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stuttgart.
