I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a Korean-friendly zone with plenty of authentic shops and fellow travelers from South Korea, making it feel like a mini Seoul getaway. The hotel regularly hosts themed events, and during my stay, there was a fun fried chicken and beer night along with a special Korean strawberry tart dessert. Even more exciting? I discovered they had a countdown party that evening—staff were incredibly energetic and engaging, turning it into a memorable highlight. Every employee I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. This level of hospitality is rare and truly worth noting. Definitely coming back.

Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Having access to the lounge all day long means you can relax, read, grab a drink, or even take a nap without ever needing to leave the hotel. Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel

Located just a 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, this hotel may look unassuming from the outside, but once you step inside, you’re greeted with elegant and thoughtful design that truly stands out. Despite being in a bustling area, the rooms are surprisingly quiet—perfect for a restful stay. The front door opens right into a popular local Vietnamese eatery, making dining on-site super convenient. Breakfast is a highlight: generous, varied, and delicious. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We stayed for two nights on December 14th and 15th—the rooftop pool was too chilly to swim in, which is understandable this time of year. The gym is located in a closed-off, windowless space with noticeable rubber odor, so we didn’t use it. However, if you don’t rely heavily on fitness or pool access, this place is an excellent choice. With its central location, charming atmosphere, and strong value for money, I’d definitely recommend it to friends. It’s one of those hidden gems that delivers far more than expected.
