I was initially concerned about the room being outdated, especially since the photos online looked so heavily edited. To my surprise, the actual room was in decent condition overall. The kitchen cabinets were in poor shape, and there was a noticeable unpleasant odor from the toilet water upon arrival—however, we reported it to reception right away, and they promptly resolved the issue with no further problems. The furniture was definitely aged but still functional. What stood out most was the excellent housekeeping and cleaning service—every time we returned to the room, it was spotless and well-maintained, which really helped offset any concerns about the room's age. If you're looking for a brand-new look, I’d recommend avoiding the classic rooms. But if you’re not too fussy about aesthetics and value cleanliness, comfort, and good service, this place offers fantastic value. It’s also conveniently located near public transit, making exploring Jakarta easy.
