Location-wise, if you’re planning to explore on foot, be prepared for some distance—expect at least a 1-hour walk to reach main attractions. Having a car, scooter, or quad is definitely the best way to get around comfortably. One small note: there’s a charge for bottled water in the room (around €3), but you can easily bring your own if preferred. That said, the overall experience was exceptional. The property itself is stunning, with authentic Greek architecture, spotless rooms, and a gorgeous pool area complete with a cozy bar. Stayed for four days in September 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful—from assisting with luggage to arranging airport transfers. Breakfast was served on our balcony every morning, hearty and delicious. Fresh linens were provided daily, adding to the comfort. Our room (102) was peaceful and private, overlooking the caldera, complete with a private patio, pool, fridge/freezer, air conditioning, a cozy queen bed, and a spacious bathtub—feeling like a little slice of heaven. The only challenge was the steep staircase leading down to the room, which was tough to manage due to mobility issues, but that’s expected when staying on a cliffside in Fira. Despite that, the stunning views, exceptional service, and overall atmosphere made it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Santorini.
