I didn’t get any photos, but I truly can’t stop recommending this hotel—I’ve already told several friends about it. What stands out the most is the location: restaurants, breakfast spots, cafés, and a supermarket are all within walking distance. Every morning I’d go for a quick run and then head back for a fresh breakfast—so convenient! The cleanliness was outstanding. After staying at many hotels, I have to say the housekeeping here is next-level meticulous—every corner was spotless, literally no dust or mess in sight. The on-site restaurant also impressed me with its great food, surprisingly close to what I’d consider homey Chinese flavors. The staff were incredibly warm and even tried speaking a few phrases in broken Chinese that weren’t always clear—but their effort and friendliness made up for it. This place is worth every penny, and I’ll definitely be back.

Still, both ladies made an effort, answered questions patiently, and offered warm smiles. It’s clear they care about guest comfort despite language barriers. For travelers looking for a budget-friendly option with character and a welcoming vibe, this place is worth considering. I’d definitely come back.

The location is absolutely fantastic—just a 2-3 minute walk to the Hermitage Museum, and other major attractions are easily reachable with just a short bus ride. Getting to the railway station for Lake Ladoga or other destinations is also very convenient. It’s only about an 8-9 minute walk to the famous Bookstore, and there are fast food options like Burger King and McDonald’s nearby. There’s even a gift shop right on the ground floor. The only downside was that the photos provided by the platform were misleading—I thought I had to enter through the main entrance, but it’s actually a smaller side entrance. Once inside, the elevator makes getting to the 4th-floor front desk easy. One tip: if you’re tall, the loft-standard room might feel cramped. Upgrading to a regular flat-ceiling room is definitely worth it for more space and comfort. Overall, this place offers excellent value and a great stay in St. Petersburg.

The only thing to note is that there’s no elevator in the building, so if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or have mobility concerns, it might be worth considering. The room and kitchen are spotlessly clean, with fresh linens and a comfortable mattress that made for a great night’s sleep. All toiletries are provided—no need to pack extra. Breakfast is available upon request, and there’s always a water cooler with coffee and tea ready whenever you want a drink. It’s a well-maintained, cozy place with excellent value, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The front desk operates 24/7, staff speak English fluently, and they were very helpful—especially when I needed an official check-in document. The only minor downside was a few mosquitoes, and while the hotel provided mosquito tablets, they didn’t do much to keep them away. I’d recommend bringing your own repellent. What truly stands out is the unbeatable location—right next to a supermarket and just steps from the M19 metro station, making it super easy to explore the city. For convenience, cleanliness, and value, this hotel is definitely one of the best choices in Saint Petersburg.
