The room was excellent, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the city center and surrounded by quiet, safe streets. I felt completely at ease during my stay. The only hiccup was with the booking platform—it was slow to send the self-check-in password email, which didn’t arrive until 9 PM on the day of arrival. Without it, I couldn’t access the door, and trying to reach front desk support was frustratingly difficult. Still, the hostel itself is fantastic—clean, stylish, and well-organized. The experience overall was positive, and I’d definitely book again if I’m back in Vienna.

The room was small and simply furnished, but perfectly adequate for a few days' stay. The rooms looked clean at first glance, but after actually using them, it became clear this was a complete letdown. The drain plug was missing from both the sink and shower, and right after washing hands, we noticed the sink was leaking—wastewater was flowing straight into the bathroom. The grout lines around the shower tiles and the corners of the shower tray were heavily covered in black mold. Even worse, the shower door was completely missing, so once someone had taken a shower, the bathroom was impossible to enter without getting your feet wet. The bathroom extractor fan stopped working shortly after, and within minutes, the entire room was filled with steam. Each guest was given just one tiny towel—about 30x60 cm—which was utterly useless for drying off after a shower. It felt more like a joke than a service. Honestly, this experience was a total scam. We booked based on certain expectations, and those promises were broken without any explanation. If Vienna has a different standard for contracts or customer service, then please be upfront about it so travelers can make informed choices. This isn’t honest business—it’s misleading, disappointing, and absolutely not worth it.
