Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Mexico City

Staying at Las Alcobas was an absolute highlight of our trip to Mexico City. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and genuinely cared for—attentive without being overbearing. Our room was stunning: spacious, elegant, and filled with thoughtful touches. The bathroom was a true showstopper—the shower had multiple jet settings, and the bathtub came with a bubbling feature that the staff customized with herbs and soft lighting, turning it into a serene retreat. Even the soaps were luxurious, infused with natural botanicals. The minibar was generously stocked with free snacks and drinks—a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh Mexican-style eggs, pastries, and a variety of hot beverages—perfect for starting the day right. We loved exploring the surrounding neighborhood and highly recommend visiting Teotihuacán to see the ancient pyramids and museum. For foodies, Taquería El Túrix offers some of the best street tacos in town, and Entremar delivers a vibrant, authentic local vibe. This hotel truly stands out—not just for its luxury, but for how welcoming and thoughtfully designed every detail feels. If you're visiting Mexico City, this is the place to stay.

Casa Polanco Hotel Boutique

Staying at Casa Polanco Hotel Boutique was hands down the most exceptional hotel experience I've had in Mexico City. The Polanco Suite is absolutely stunning—luxurious furnishings, impeccable bedding, and a sense of home that’s hard to describe. Every corner of this elegant boutique property feels thoughtfully designed: the serene veranda, the intimate library, and the multiple terraces offer perfect spots to relax or enjoy quiet moments. Yes, rates are on the higher end, but every amenity justifies the price—especially for the top-tier suites, where the list of perks is so extensive it’s almost overwhelming to remember them all. I’ve stayed in some incredible places before, including the Penthouse Pasaje at Las Alcobas, which remains one of the most impressive suites in the city. But overall, Casa Polanco delivers something deeper—a unique blend of warmth, sophistication, and attention to detail that truly sets it apart. If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Mexico City, this is the place.

The Alest Hotel

The Alest Hotel is a fantastic choice in Mexico City—great location, just a short walk from the metro and central attractions. The overall vibe is modern and welcoming, with well-designed rooms that feel both cozy and stylish. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant team who go above and beyond with their service—always cheerful and attentive. That said, this visit had a small hiccup: room cleanliness wasn’t up to standard, with visible dust and some areas needing a deeper clean. Also, the new concierge seemed slightly unimpressed when I asked about parking—an odd moment, but likely just a one-off. Still, these minor issues don’t take away from the strong positives. Great value for money, excellent staff attitude elsewhere, and a convenient spot. Would definitely stay again.

Utopic Palacio Polanco by Uliv

I stayed for just one night at this property, and while it’s not a bad option for business travelers looking for some extra space and kitchenette access, I found the value to be quite low for such a short stay. The location in Polanco is excellent—walkable to shops, restaurants, and public transit, which is a big plus. The digital key system makes entry smooth and secure, and there’s 24/7 security at the entrance, which adds peace of mind. That said, the room itself felt a bit cramped, especially the bathroom, which was small and had an unpleasant odor. The kitchenette has basic appliances but isn’t ideal for cooking-heavy stays. Most importantly, the price feels significantly higher than comparable standard hotels in the area. For a one-night visit, you’ll likely find better deals elsewhere. It’s more suitable for longer stays or those who genuinely need the apartment-style setup rather than a quick urban getaway.

Suites Del Ángel

Staying at Suites Del Ángel was an absolute delight—perfectly located right in the heart of Mexico City, making it super easy to explore everything on foot or via public transit. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, offering a cozy retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. What stood out most was how convenient and central the location felt, yet the hotel managed to keep a peaceful, private vibe. For such a great price and exceptional service, this place truly delivers on every level. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Pent House Masaryk 17

Staying at this top-floor apartment was an absolute delight. Despite being located on a main street, the place was remarkably quiet—no noise from traffic or surroundings, which made it incredibly peaceful. The cleaning staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure the room stayed spotless throughout our stay. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality and location, offering great value. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a serene atmosphere in Mexico City.

Emporio Reforma

Staying at Emporio Reforma was a fantastic experience. The hotel’s location on Paseo de la Reforma is unbeatable—just a short walk or quick transit ride away from key attractions like the Angel of Independence and the historic center. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet, which made evening strolls enjoyable without any concerns. While some of the facilities show their age, everything remains clean, functional, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For travelers who value convenience, safety, and good value in the heart of Mexico City, this hotel delivers exactly what you need. I’d definitely stay here again and give it a solid 10 out of 10.

Suites Berna 12

Staying at Suites Berna 12 was an absolute highlight of my trip to Mexico City. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Angel de la Independencia, putting me right in the heart of the action. The apartment itself is spacious and well-designed, with two separate bedrooms, a full bathroom, a small kitchen, and a cozy living area. It felt like having my own private retreat while still being steps away from restaurants, shops, and attractions. The layout is smart and practical, perfect for both solo travelers and couples. I especially appreciated the quiet, residential vibe despite being so centrally located. Everything was clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. This place truly delivers on comfort and convenience—highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, convenient base in Mexico City.

Hotel Lepanto Reforma

I absolutely loved every aspect of my stay here—the service was exceptional, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Location-wise, it's super convenient with easy access to public transit and nearby attractions. The only small suggestion would be to implement an automated gate system at the parking entrance, or provide guests with a key fob that automatically opens the gate when approaching. This would save staff from having to manually open and close the gate repeatedly, improving both efficiency and convenience. Everything else was perfect—this hotel truly delivers on comfort, hospitality, and value. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to return soon.

Hotel & Villas Panamá

The staff at the front desk were incredibly patient and welcoming—so friendly and helpful throughout check-in. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. High-speed Wi-Fi made working remotely effortless, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. Honestly, I wish I had booked a longer stay—I barely scratched the surface of what this place offers. I’ll definitely be returning soon, and without hesitation, I’d choose this hotel again over any other option. A true gem in Mexico City with exceptional value and comfort.

Alteza Polanco

I visited Alteza Polanco for the first time with a casual explore mindset, and I was genuinely impressed. The interior design is incredibly unique—every corner feels Instagram-worthy, making it perfect for photography without trying too hard. I ordered a few signature drinks, and they were a delightful surprise; flavorful, creative, and definitely worth the experience. It’s true that finding the location can be tricky, but that’s exactly what makes it special—the quiet, low-key vibe stands out in a city full of noise. No crowds, no stress, just a peaceful and stylish atmosphere. Whether you're gathering with friends or planning a team-building event, this place offers a fantastic space with great ambiance. It's one of those hidden gems that deserves more attention. I’m already planning my next visit—truly a standout spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Villa Horacio by Kukun

Staying at Villa Horacio by Kukun was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to local gems like cafes, markets, and authentic eateries. We found it easy to get around the city using public transit, and the villa itself offered a peaceful retreat with a unique Mexican charm in every corner. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, this place truly delivers value beyond expectations. I’d happily come back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.
