Staying at Zhongshui International Hotel was a delightful surprise—way better than I expected. Even though some reviews mentioned outdated facilities, the rooms felt clean, modern, and well-maintained. I asked the staff directly, and they confirmed the hotel recently underwent a full renovation—definitely shows in the quality. The location is unbeatable: right next to a park, just a 100-meter walk to the Li River where locals are fishing and swimming. Perfect for early morning strolls or relaxing by the water. Parking is huge and completely free—huge plus if you're driving, which we were. The room was incredibly quiet, so peaceful that I slept in late and woke up naturally, no alarm needed. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully done—from the comfort to the convenience. If you’re visiting Guilin, this is a top choice. A real hidden gem with excellent value.
