That said, the location is fantastic—just a short walk to Tiandi and Lihuangpi Road, both full of charm and great for exploring. When I chose to stay at Taohualin Hotel (Huanghelou Tanhuaci Branch), it truly lived up to the moment. The name says it all—the ambiance is elegant, refined, and warmly inviting, blending sophistication with comfort. The room layout is smart, the furnishings high-quality, and the view from the window opens up to the heartbeat of the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. A friendly front-desk attendant not only helped carry my luggage upstairs but also patiently re-arranged my room to one I was truly happy with. Even better, welcome fruits and a little pack of monkey head mushroom cookies were waiting in my room—a sweet touch that made me smile. The next day, after running errands until 3 PM, I returned exhausted, only to find my phone dead and unable to check in due to a queue at the front desk. I was frustrated and drained, just wanting to collapse into my room. Then I noticed a calm, clear-eyed staff member—later learned to be the assistant manager, Xiao Li—who kindly listened to my situation.
