Located just 500 meters from the Yangtze River, we took a leisurely evening ride on shared bikes along the riverside, covering about 4 kilometers to reach under the iconic Yangtze River Bridge. The nighttime light show along both banks was breathtaking—colorful, dynamic, and truly magical. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm. Their kindness made our trip even more memorable, especially as we’re already planning our visit to Wuhan for New Year’s Day 2026. This place has definitely earned a spot in my heart—and I’ll be back!

When I chose to stay at Taohualin Hotel (Huanghelou Tanhuaci Branch), it truly lived up to the moment. The name says it all—the ambiance is elegant, refined, and warmly inviting, blending sophistication with comfort. The room layout is smart, the furnishings high-quality, and the view from the window opens up to the heartbeat of the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. A friendly front-desk attendant not only helped carry my luggage upstairs but also patiently re-arranged my room to one I was truly happy with. Even better, welcome fruits and a little pack of monkey head mushroom cookies were waiting in my room—a sweet touch that made me smile. The next day, after running errands until 3 PM, I returned exhausted, only to find my phone dead and unable to check in due to a queue at the front desk. I was frustrated and drained, just wanting to collapse into my room. Then I noticed a calm, clear-eyed staff member—later learned to be the assistant manager, Xiao Li—who kindly listened to my situation. Without hesitation, he arranged a solution through several calls, allowing me to enter my room ahead of time. That kind of proactive, genuine care—so rare these days—left me genuinely touched.
