Our stay was extended from 5 to 6 nights, and Manager Du went above and beyond with her friendly, attentive approach. Located right on Li Huangpi Road, the hotel is steps away from the bustling Jianghan Pedestrian Street—perfect for dining, shopping, and soaking in the local vibe. Just across the street is Dongting Gate of Hankou Riverside, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions like the Jianghan Customs Museum, historic buildings, and charming old neighborhoods such as Bagong House and Xian'anfang. Don’t miss out on iconic local eateries like De Hua Lou and Cai Lin Ji—great food within walking distance. The room itself isn’t huge, but the open-air balcony offers a fantastic view of the night skyline and a glimpse of the Yangtze River. The bedding and amenities are comfortable and well-maintained. For the location and overall experience, this is definitely one of the best value-for-money boutique hotels in the area.

The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained—definitely a highlight of the stay. The only minor issue was the heating system in the air conditioning; even on cool mode, it blew out warm air, making it uncomfortably hot at night. I ended up turning it off completely, but still felt warm. A small adjustment to the temperature settings would make a big difference. That said, the location is fantastic—just a short walk to Tiandi and Lihuangpi Road, both full of charm and great for exploring. There’s plenty to do nearby, from dining to sightseeing, all within easy reach. Overall, excellent value and a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

When I chose to stay at Taohualin Hotel (Huanghelou Tanhuaci Branch), it truly lived up to the moment. The name says it all—the ambiance is elegant, refined, and warmly inviting, blending sophistication with comfort. The room layout is smart, the furnishings high-quality, and the view from the window opens up to the heartbeat of the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. A friendly front-desk attendant not only helped carry my luggage upstairs but also patiently re-arranged my room to one I was truly happy with. Even better, welcome fruits and a little pack of monkey head mushroom cookies were waiting in my room—a sweet touch that made me smile. The next day, after running errands until 3 PM, I returned exhausted, only to find my phone dead and unable to check in due to a queue at the front desk. I was frustrated and drained, just wanting to collapse into my room. Then I noticed a calm, clear-eyed staff member—later learned to be the assistant manager, Xiao Li—who kindly listened to my situation. Without hesitation, he arranged a solution through several calls, allowing me to enter my room ahead of time. That kind of proactive, genuine care—so rare these days—left me genuinely touched.
