Stepping into the grand lobby felt like entering a luxury sanctuary: soaring ceilings, a stunning crystal chandelier, and a subtle, refreshing palmarosa fragrance in the air. Every detail screamed quality and intention. We checked into a standard room, but even the room tour felt like an experience—each cabinet and drawer revealed thoughtful touches: a golf cart model, a vintage hourglass, curated books. These aren’t just decorative items; they reflect the hotel’s unique personality and attention to storytelling. The amenities were top-tier—thick, plush slippers, a 17g mid-size Colgate toothpaste, and a wooden comb. Simple things, but so well executed, it made a real emotional impact. Breakfast was an absolute highlight. So much variety, so much flavor—my stomach really couldn’t handle it all! The live stations were impressive, especially the handmade wontons by Auntie Sun. Her warmth was infectious, and the wontons? Thin wrappers, generously stuffed with hand-ground meat that was springy and juicy—clearly made fresh, not mass-produced. The seafood congee was rich and aromatic, and fresh-squeezed juice added a perfect finishing touch. Staff were attentive without being intrusive—if something needed time, they’d ask where we were seated and bring it straight to us. The pool was massive, deep enough (around 1.4m), and kept at a perfect 30°C—ideal for winter swimming. At night, it felt almost private, like we had the whole space to ourselves. The dry sauna was spacious, well-ventilated, and completely quiet—no distractions. Even the shower and vanity areas used the same high-end products and appliances as the bedroom—zero compromises. Bonus: the complimentary 30-minute golf session at the practice range. As a complete beginner, I surprised myself with how well I did—fun, engaging, and genuinely memorable. I’d been slightly nervous after reading some negative comments about cold staff, but every interaction was warm, professional, and efficient. Housekeeping responded within minutes of a call—truly next-level responsiveness. Despite being in a quieter season (and even on a weekend), the hotel maintained its premium standards. Rumor has it the previous guest amenities were by Acqua di Parma, so there might’ve been some cost adjustments—but the soul of the place remains intact. This isn’t a hotel chasing trends or partnering with random photo shoots. It’s a genuine, well-crafted property built on substance, consistency, and care. Even better, the hotel included complimentary tickets to the nearby Six Dynasties Museum—a thoughtful touch that made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—central, walkable to major attractions, and just a short metro ride from everything. My stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is just a short walk—less than 100 meters—from Exit 12 of Xijiekou Metro Station on Line 1 or Line 2, making access super convenient. We arrived quickly via elevator to the 8th-floor front desk, where check-in was smooth and friendly. Our stay was made even better by the store manager, who warmly shared details about the hotel’s amenities and recommended local attractions—truly helpful for planning our days without any missteps. Right outside, there are multiple shopping centers, so grabbing something after a long day of sightseeing is effortless. And food-wise? There’s no shortage—the nearby streets like Xiaohuowawa Lane, Youfu West Street, and Yangpi Alley are absolute foodie heaven. We also loved the hotel’s own cozy “Youba” lounge, which offers free coffee and tea. It became our go-to spot for unwinding after a busy day out—chatting with friends, playing cards, enjoying snacks, all in a relaxed atmosphere. Plus, getting around the city is a breeze: Line 2 takes you straight to Zhongshan Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, and the Nanjing Museum. Line 1 connects us directly to the Presidential Palace, Confucius Temple, and Xuanwu Lake. All in all, the exceptional service from the manager and the entire team made our trip stress-free and memorable. We stayed in Nanjing for five nights, and after two less-than-satisfying days elsewhere, we switched to this hotel for the last three—and it was a perfect upgrade. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotlessly clean, and all amenities were modern and well-maintained. One small but thoughtful touch: there’s a display on the TV showing how many washing machines are available at any time, so you don’t waste time walking down only to find them all in use. That little detail made laundry day stress-free. The location is fantastic—right next to Liu Chang Xing for great local food, and just a short walk from key attractions like the Presidential Palace, Six Dynasties Museum, Piliu Temple, and the Comfort Station Exhibition Hall. We didn’t get a chance to visit the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre this time, but I’m already planning a return trip—definitely coming back here. Oh, and while booking through the platform, it mentioned complimentary late-night porridge. We didn’t ask for it, so we missed out—but if you’re staying here, don’t forget to request it! It’s a nice surprise worth taking advantage of.

Located just steps away from deji Plaza, with the metro station conveniently underground right next to it, getting around to major attractions like Daxinggong, Confucius Temple, and the Presidential Palace was incredibly easy. The hotel has been recently renovated—everything feels fresh, clean, and comfortable. The room featured a smart toilet and a heated towel rail, which added a nice touch of modern convenience. I booked through a platform, and upon arrival, the front desk staff had already turned on the heating because of the sudden cold snap. They even noticed we came from the south and deliberately gave us a south-facing room with morning sunlight—such thoughtful attention to detail. There was a welcome drink in the mini-fridge, and since we were visiting Nanjing for tourism, they provided a helpful guide with tips on reaching key sights. Late at night, when our bottled water ran out, I called the front desk and within minutes, a robot delivered a new one right to our door—super efficient! Even more touching: when the staff spotted my birthday date on my ID, they surprised me with a small gift. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Across the street, there are plenty of dining options—our breakfast was at Lao Hun Dun, where we enjoyed authentic Nanjing wontons and crispy little pancakes that were delicious. This stay exceeded expectations. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Nanjing—it’s not just convenient, it’s full of heart and excellent service.
