Hotel HD Palace Taipei
I booked this hotel just two weeks before my trip, and I was incredibly lucky to get a room with a view of Taipei 101—what an unexpected bonus! The location is fantastic; it's only a short metro ride to Taipei Station and surrounded by great restaurants and local spots. The owner was so welcoming and helpful—she even gave me tips on nearby attractions and offered a small gift upon check-in. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful night’s sleep. Everything about the stay felt personal and thoughtfully done. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’d absolutely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.
MOSHAMANLA Hotel - Main Station
I booked this hotel months in advance during peak season, only to receive an email a few days before check-in canceling my reservation. With demand at an all-time high, available rooms are now 5 to 6 times more expensive than when I originally booked. As a family with young children, we were left scrambling for last-minute accommodations and ended up completely disrupting our trip. The lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable—this experience seriously damaged our travel plans and left us feeling very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

Even though Ximending is one of Taipei’s most expensive areas, the room space is surprisingly generous—definitely not cramped. The timing was perfect too: we arrived right during Taipei Lantern Festival, and the streets were alive with colorful displays. The light shows were breathtaking, rivaling anything I’ve seen in Las Vegas. It felt magical walking through the festive streets, surrounded by dazzling decorations. This stay exceeded expectations—great value, unbeatable location, and unforgettable atmosphere. Would book again without hesitation.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Located right in the heart of Ximending, it’s nestled inside a shopping mall with 24/7 access and friendly staff always on duty. I loved how convenient everything was—just steps away from an amazing hot pot buffet that everyone raves about. The room was compact but well-equipped with a mini-fridge and a hairdryer, which made my stay super comfortable. Clean, safe, and perfectly positioned for exploring Taipei’s vibrant street life. If you're looking for a great value stay in a central location, this place is a must-book. I’ll definitely be back!
