The location is excellent—right next to Schönhauser Allee S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, plus streetcar access, making public transit super convenient. Despite being near a major transit hub, the apartment is surprisingly quiet because it’s situated in a secondary building further back from the street. The space itself is well laid out and functional, but it lacks a proper kitchen—just a microwave, which makes meal prep tricky. Washing up is also challenging, especially with larger items. The sleeper sofa isn’t very comfortable for a full night’s rest. During our stay, we encountered several issues: a clogged drain, a broken kettle, then another drain blockage, and a malfunctioning door keypad. Fortunately, Limehome responded quickly each time and resolved everything promptly—kudos for their responsiveness. That said, basic maintenance like keeping drains clear should be part of routine upkeep and not something that requires guest complaints. It was still a bit frustrating. Overall, the apartment offers good value for money, but there are a few areas where small improvements could make a big difference in guest experience.
