River Palace Hotel
Staying at River Palace Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to St. Petersburg. Located right on the banks of the Neva River, the view from the window was breathtaking—especially during sunset. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern comforts. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, making the experience feel personal and welcoming. Breakfast was a real treat—fresh, varied, and served in generous portions with both local and international options. I was impressed by how close it was to major attractions like the Hermitage Museum and Saint Isaac's Cathedral; walking distance made exploring effortless. Public transport links are excellent too, making it easy to get around the city. For the quality, location, and service, this hotel offers incredible value. Whether traveling for business or leisure, River Palace Hotel is my top recommendation.

This is my first time leaving a review on the platform, and I just had to share how amazing this stay was! The Traditsiya Hotel is perfectly located—just a 20-minute walk to the Hermitage Museum, with great access to public transit and plenty of nearby dining options. The lobby is stunning, with elegant design that matches the photos exactly—immediately sets a luxurious tone. The room was spotless, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance that wasn’t overpowering—perfect for relaxation. Special shoutout to Yekaterina at reception—she was beautiful, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. My only small note: check-in is at 3 PM, so if you arrive earlier, you’ll need to store your luggage. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I’d definitely stay here again.
Welton Club Hotel & Apartments Hotel
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in St. Petersburg—definitely not my first visit here. The breakfast was outstanding: a wide variety of fresh, delicious options including porridge, sausages, eggs, vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, and more. What really stood out was that spa access and the gym were included with the room—no extra fees, which is a real plus. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, though the mattress was slightly firm for my taste. That said, the bedding quality was excellent, and it made up for the firmness. Overall, the value for money is fantastic, and I’d definitely book again if I’m back in St. Petersburg. A top-tier experience from start to finish.

Stayed at Life Space apartment with my daughter for five wonderful days. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to Gor'kovskaya metro station, and the Peter and Paul Fortress is within easy reach on foot. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and green spaces nearby, making daily life super convenient. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable with soft lighting, and the mattresses were firm and supportive—perfect for a good night’s sleep. A working air conditioner kept things cool, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas stove, cookware, kettle, tea, and coffee—ideal for preparing meals. We had no issues with bathroom availability; there were enough facilities for all guests, and no queues ever formed. The host couple, Roman and Maria, were incredibly welcoming and helpful—they answered every question with warmth and care. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. This place offers excellent value and comfort. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

I stayed at Tuchkov Buyan by Sokroma in Saint Petersburg for a business trip, and I was genuinely impressed. The main priority was handling my official documents, and the staff clearly anticipates this need—everything was processed quickly and smoothly. The front desk agent was exceptionally friendly and efficient, checking me in without delays and answering all my questions promptly. What stood out most were the thoughtful little touches in the room: a shoe drying rack, a bath sponge, fabric adhesive patches, a potato peeler, even a champagne opener! These small details made daily life so much easier and added a personal, considerate touch. It’s clear that attention to detail is a core value here. From start to finish, the service was seamless, warm, and professional. A truly memorable stay with great value—definitely recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

Everything about this stay was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel’s atmosphere—evoking old England with its cozy, timeless charm—is absolutely delightful. Soft background music in the evenings adds to the serene vibe, and the entire place feels quiet and peaceful, almost like a hidden gem. We barely saw other guests aside from breakfast time—most were rushing off to work or visiting museums. The room was spotless, with strong shower pressure and smooth drainage. When we gently mentioned needing fresh towels, they were replaced immediately—great attention to detail. While bed linen was changed only once every five days (which is standard), cleanliness remained top-notch throughout. Breakfast was far from meager—far from it! We had boiled eggs, cold cuts and cheese platters, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and a daily hot breakfast featuring oatmeal (my favorite, and always available). But it wasn’t just oatmeal—each day brought something new: scrambled eggs with variations, egg dishes, baked casseroles, sausages, pancakes with fillings, and more. Coffee was always on hand—even when we arrived late. Plus, there were juices, milk, yogurt, cereals, and plenty of options for those who prefer a lighter start. The location couldn’t be better: right next to a tram stop, just a 5-7 minute walk to the metro, and the Neva Embankment is literally around the corner. There’s a 24-hour convenience store right at the street corner, a fantastic shawarma shop nearby, and just through a little alleyway, a charming Serbian restaurant that lives up to its reputation—not just for the food, but for the warm hospitality. I’d even say the owner’s personality alone sets the tone. And yes, you can enjoy a proper Russian borscht for just under 500 rubles—delicious and affordable. Overall, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, location, and authenticity. A truly memorable stay, and I’d happily return.

Staying at Mary Mini-Hotel in Saint Petersburg was an absolute delight. I appreciated the mosquito repellent unit, which had a cleverly placed outlet near the window frame—though we didn’t end up using it, the idea itself was quite inventive. Bathrobes, disposable slippers, and a set of crisp white towels were all included—everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. We stayed on the third floor with a view into the quiet courtyard, and despite being in the heart of the city, the room was incredibly quiet. No noise from neighbors at all—earplugs weren’t even needed, though they were provided just in case. The lounge area on our floor has a cozy seating zone with sofas, ideal for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was outstanding—fresh, varied, and delicious. Think sausages, hot dogs, scrambled eggs, small Russian pancakes with cottage cheese, cheese cakes with sour cream, condensed milk, and black currant jam—plus tea, coffee, pastries, yogurt, porridge, and more. Everything tasted homemade and freshly made. The artistic metal staircases and wall installations throughout the floors are truly unique, adding a modern industrial charm to the hotel. I’ve already recommended this place to friends—and if I ever return to St. Petersburg, I’ll definitely come back here.
