We stayed at the Taj Agra for two nights with our kids and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with traditional Indian hospitality—check-in was smooth and memorable. The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was a small yet heartfelt gesture by the housekeeping team member Omveer. He arranged my 6-year-old son’s toy cars in a neat line, which brought such joy to him that it became one of the most cherished moments of our trip. The attention to detail, genuine warmth, and exceptional service made this stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

The room had a spacious bed and was super comfortable, with clean, quiet surroundings. There are plenty of cozy areas throughout the property where you can relax and unwind at your own pace. What truly sets this place apart is its incredible location—just a 1-kilometer walk from the Taj Mahal, and you can even see it from the rooftop terrace. Watching the sunrise over the iconic monument from there was unforgettable. This isn’t just a hostel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Agra!

We even got to choose our room upon check-in, which added a personal touch. Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations—cleanliness, comfort, service, and value for money. No complaints at all; it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again without hesitation.

We booked this hotel through a platform for a family stay over Christmas, expecting amenities like a rooftop bar, swimming pool, and on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, none of these were operational during our visit. The staff were polite but seemed genuinely surprised to have guests arrive—almost as if they weren’t expecting any bookings. Once inside the room, we immediately noticed the door lock didn’t work properly, making it impossible to secure the room. There was no safe in the room, and the temperature was freezing despite the thermostat being set. Pillows were torn and looked unclean, and the overall cleanliness gave the impression that the room desperately needed a deep clean. The window overlooked an ongoing construction site, with thick mud stains visible from the outside. In the second room, exposed wiring was present where the light switch should be—meaning lights could only be controlled from outside the room. Inside, there was a significant amount of black mold growing along the walls. To make matters worse, all the promotional photos clearly did not reflect reality—the property appeared to still be under construction. After spending just 45 minutes at the hotel, we decided to transfer to another accommodation. The only reason this gets one star is due to the staff’s courteous attitude. We’ve requested a full refund, as the experience fell drastically short of expectations.

Common areas—including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and dining spaces—were kept tidy throughout our stay. The staff went above and beyond: polite, professional, and incredibly responsive. Whether it was checking in, ordering room service, or asking for local recommendations, they were prompt, helpful, and genuinely warm. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient, and housekeeping respected our privacy while maintaining consistent cleaning schedules. All amenities, including Wi-Fi and dining facilities, were well-maintained and fully functional. Any minor concerns were resolved swiftly and courteously. This hotel is perfect for couples, families, solo travelers, or groups looking for exceptional hospitality without compromise. I highly recommend staying here—it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience you’ll remember.

I really didn’t want to leave a negative review, but I feel compelled to warn others after what happened. My group of four traveled to Agra for a seminar starting at noon, and we had booked this hotel online in advance—fully paid upfront for three nights. When we arrived for check-in, the front desk staff refused to honor our reservation. A tall, dark-skinned employee stood there and demanded an extra ₹2,000 just to get in. I explained we already paid everything and asked why we’d have to pay more. He simply said, 'Pay up or leave now.' We were running late, so after pleading and trying to reason with him, he finally agreed—but only if we paid another ₹1,000. We reluctantly complied. Then came the worst part: the room was filthy, absolutely unclean. We asked for another one, but were told no rooms were available. They directed us to contact customer support instead. What followed was two hours of frustration—three different agents passed us around like a hot potato. Each one sent us to worse hotels, none of which met our needs. We made it clear we didn’t want any Oyo-affiliated properties anymore and insisted on a refund. Only after prolonged back-and-forth did one agent agree to process the refund. While I ultimately decided not to take legal action due to personal reasons, the entire experience left me deeply disappointed. The lack of professionalism from both the hotel and the platform is unacceptable. If you're considering booking here, go in with eyes wide open—don’t trust online listings blindly.
