The Connect Chiang Mai
This was my second visit to The Connect Chiang Mai, and I’m even more impressed this time around. Located just a short distance from the airport, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers with early flights or late arrivals. What stands out is the incredible value: for under $150 USD, you get a comfortable stay in a great location. Right downstairs is a cozy café, and within walking distance are supermarkets and plenty of local eateries. It’s perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still want convenience and a homely vibe. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Chiang Mai.
Khaohom House
Staying at Khaohom House was a perfect choice for our last night in Chiang Mai, especially since our flight was late evening. The hotel’s close proximity to the airport made it super convenient for a quick shower and some rest before heading out. What I loved most was how it’s literally right next to Lotus Supermarket—ideal for picking up souvenirs without having to travel far. The owner was incredibly helpful; he asked about our flight time and even arranged a pickup to the airport at the perfect moment. When we arrived via ride-hailing app, the driver dropped us off at the supermarket parking lot—don’t worry, that’s actually correct! Just follow the small path beside the building to reach the hotel entrance. We were a bit confused at first, but luckily our Bolt driver kindly called the owner, who came out to meet us personally. It made all the difference. If you’re looking for a stress-free final stop in Chiang Mai with easy access to both the airport and a big grocery store, this place is absolutely worth considering.

Located just steps away from the metro station, it’s super convenient for exploring Chiang Mai. A fantastic stay overall, highly recommend!
