I booked this place after seeing the buzz online about the popular chicken cage spa—plus, the in-house spa offer made it even more appealing, so I didn’t have to go searching elsewhere. The pool area was spotless and well-maintained—definitely a 10/10 in that department. The room was spacious with a lovely European-style design, and the shower had powerful water pressure—perfect for someone who appreciates details. Natural light flooded in, making the space feel bright and airy. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout check-in and check-out. It’s conveniently located not too far from the airport, and right outside the hotel, there are great local breakfast spots and BBQ stalls—flavorful and authentic. Overall, an outstanding stay with excellent value. Definitely coming back!

Staying at Nantra Chiangmai Riverfront Hotel was an absolute delight. The room was spotlessly clean, and its location offered a perfect balance—close enough to the city center for easy access, yet peaceful and quiet. Getting around was simple, whether by public transport or taxi. While the towels could be slightly fresher and the mattress a bit softer, these were minor points in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service, and the breakfast spread was impressive—offering a great mix of local flavors and international options. The lush garden area along the river is truly a highlight: shaded seating areas, gentle breezes, and the soothing sound of flowing water make it the ideal spot to unwind. It’s a serene retreat without sacrificing convenience. Highly recommend this gem for travelers seeking comfort, charm, and a touch of nature.

We brought our teenage kids to Chiang Mai for an eco-friendly getaway, and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel is just a short walk from the old city—ideal for exploring history and culture—but also close enough to the mountains for some easy trekking. My kids loved two things in particular: first, the 24-hour fitness center, which let us squeeze in a workout while they were asleep; second, the lightning-fast Wi-Fi—our teen used her tablet for school assignments and online classes without any lag. For dinner, we highly recommend the nearby grilled street food spot—just a 2-minute stroll away. It’s safe, affordable, and not tourist-trap priced. Even more impressive was the staff’s kindness—they quickly provided antihistamine medication when my son got bitten by a mosquito and had a reaction. Their prompt and caring response made a big difference. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. A 10/10 experience—we’ll definitely be back.

La Mai Hotel is an excellent choice in Chiang Mai, offering a fantastic experience overall. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, it’s actually part of what makes this hotel so special—quiet, authentic, and surrounded by local charm. The area is full of small neighborhood eateries where meals are affordable and delicious, giving you a real taste of everyday Thai life. I didn’t take any photos during my stay, so I’m using a few scenic shots from the surroundings to give you a glimpse of the vibe. Despite its quiet setting, the hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and very comfortable. With such great value for money and a peaceful atmosphere, it’s one of the best budget-friendly options I’ve stayed at in Chiang Mai. If you’re looking for a genuine local feel without breaking the bank, this place is definitely worth considering.

The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. From the moment we stepped in, the cool air and high-quality mattress made it easy to unwind and sleep well. Located just a short ride from downtown Chiang Mai, it’s convenient for exploring local restaurants and attractions. The overall experience was outstanding, and the value for money is unbeatable. I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The value for money is excellent, and its proximity to the airport makes travel super convenient. The property features a peaceful garden with outdoor tables—perfect for relaxing or enjoying a drink in the evening. There's also a lively bar on one of the floors, ideal for unwinding with a cocktail after a long day. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and well-maintained, making it a great choice for travelers who want comfort without overspending.

This stay at Le Cannes Hotel was absolutely unforgettable—the best I've experienced in a long time. The cleanliness is outstanding: the room was spotless with a fresh, subtle scent, and the bathroom was both beautiful and impeccably clean. The morning breakfast was thoughtfully arranged, offering high-quality, delicious options with great variety. I stayed in a superior room—spacious, comfortable, and well-designed. It's perfectly located for easy access to downtown via public transit. Excellent value for money, top-notch service, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. I’d happily come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

If you're looking for an authentic Thai homestay experience, this is the perfect choice. Mat and Khaek made our arrival in Chiang Mai unforgettable—they picked us up from the bus station and generously shared local tips that helped us plan every part of our trip. Khaek arranged a reliable driver at an excellent rate, making it easy to explore places like the hot springs, elephant sanctuary, and scenic monk trails. Breakfasts prepared by Mat were a highlight—creative, delicious, and thoughtfully tailored to my vegetarian and fish-friendly preferences. While the property is located outside the city center, getting around is simple: Grab rides cost just 125 baht, and there’s a fantastic Japanese restaurant nearby that Mat kindly drove us to and from. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made us feel right at home. A truly memorable stay with a personal touch.

Staying at De Rose Hotel Chiang Mai was an absolute delight! The service was incredibly thoughtful, especially Noy—so friendly and eager to help. She didn’t just recommend local favorites for food and fun spots, but also made sure I wasn’t feeling lonely by taking me on a spontaneous visit to a real local market, which turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious—especially the mango sticky rice, which became my new favorite. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The hotel’s location is super convenient, with easy access to public transit and all major attractions. It’s rare to find such a warm, personal touch in a hotel setting, and the value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this gem.

Staying at De Wiang Kum Kam was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Just mention you need a ride to the old town, and they’ll arrange a free shuttle without hesitation. Even though the hotel is small with only a few rooms, it feels personal and intimate, making every interaction feel genuine and thoughtful. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I loved that the doors weren’t locked—no worries about leaving valuables behind, which added to the sense of trust and comfort. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, made-to-order, and delicious—especially the local coffee and homemade bread. My only minor notes were slightly weak water pressure and a few mosquitoes, but the hotel kindly provided mosquito repellent, so no extra purchases needed. Overall, this was such a memorable stay. The kindness of the team truly stands out, and I’d absolutely come back. If you’re visiting Chiang Mai, this hidden gem deserves a spot on your list.

Staying at Mina Garden Villa Resort was a fantastic experience! The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the airport, which made my early morning flight so much easier. The pool area is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a relaxing spot to unwind with a drink in hand. I especially appreciated the multilingual staff who spoke both Thai and Chinese, making communication smooth and stress-free. The overall atmosphere is serene, and the room was clean and comfortable. It’s an excellent choice for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and a quiet retreat without sacrificing accessibility. Highly recommended!

This wasn’t our first visit to Rajapruek Place, and it definitely won’t be our last. To truly appreciate everything the gardens have to offer, plan for several hours—there’s so much to see and experience. When we arrived, the park was almost empty, with only a loud tour group ahead of us who had just finished their 30-minute guided circuit. They were clearly allowed early access, which made for a peaceful start to our day. As always in Thailand, foreigners pay more than locals—200 THB versus 100 THB for Thais (no matter how long you’ve lived here, you’re still considered an outsider). The parking area is massive and completely quiet during off-peak times—perfect for hassle-free arrival. A helpful map is provided, and electric shuttle buses run every 15 minutes on a hop-on, hop-off basis. We opted to walk most of the way, though if you're visiting in the afternoon, the heat can get intense. Take your time—don’t rush! The orchid house is the first real highlight: breathtakingly beautiful, especially for orchid lovers. Bring a fully charged phone or camera—this is one place where you’ll want every shot. There are themed areas too, including an international garden section showcasing designs from different countries. While a few spots felt slightly neglected due to low visitor traffic, the overall quality remains impressive. The Royal Pavilion is well worth a visit—its elegant architecture and excellent views over the entire park make it a must-see. From there, either take the shuttle or walk toward the shaded paradise and skywalk for a cool, relaxing break amid lush greenery. The rose garden was past its peak, likely due to dry weather, but still featured some stunning blooms. Several cafes are scattered throughout, though some were closed. The one we visited had painfully slow service—my partner had nearly finished her drink by the time mine arrived, and no smile was offered. Still, after spending hours wandering through this botanical gem, we left utterly exhausted but deeply satisfied. We’re already counting down the days to return.
